7. How do you do the 3rd riddle because I tapped the lighthouse but nothing happen 😓 please help me 😕

   • You don’t need to click on it, the answer is lighthouse.

   • You don’t actually have to tap the lighthouse just tell the elf the answer (:

   • U should ask Santa, bcs the hint is not in the light house. Or maybe u should tap the elf and there are 4 options. Light house is one of the option so tap the lighthouse

I really don’t like that they start each day’s task at 8 or 9am – I have to leave my house early in the morning and don’t get in till late at night – there is no way to complete the tasks in the few hours after I get home and no internet access in the office. Wish it started from midnight each day, I could get tasks going before I left in the morning 😢

    • you need to complete the love is in the air quest to unlock the ability for your sims to marry.

    • You make to sims do things in pink like be romantic, keep on doing that until the sims are engaged then press get married, you have to buy the most expensive ring. Anyways that’s only after you complete love is in the air quest

20. So for the xmas quest there is 2 different things yhe teddy bear and snow globe. Im ahead on the snowglobe but not the teddy bear which one should I look at

    • you get daily prizes for completed each days goals, one of which is the snowglobe, the bear is the prize overall once you have completed the whole quest.

21. love the blog! I COMPLETED the quest today to get my mistletoe door (even selected the dancing Wumple) with 13 hours left and I don’t have it in my inventory, featured items or in the store under doors, have you heard of anyone else having this problem? Okthanksbye 🎄😦

    • Strange, sorry I’ve not heard of anyone having this issue and I don’t know how to fix it.

22. Santa is not on my list of people. How do I go back to the North Pole?

    • Check my comment below, I had the same problem yesterday. I left my sleigh @ the workshop but it reappeared after my Sim returned home from completing a social task at a neighbors. Hope this helps.

24. Mistletoe door is cute. Thanks for the help. I have an unrelated question. The weekly tasks automatically lock now after you complete the weeks tasks? Is anyone else experiencing this. I had just collected my 10th key and went back to claim the fortune box but I’m locked until the next weeks tasks start in 3 days. Grrrrrr

      Yes the weekly tasks now lock once the week has been completed,you will have to wait until the next week starts to access the shop.

      • I noticed that too. It happened when the Christmas update was installed. I can not find any other way to the mystery box shop.

25. I can’t find the fake wumples to accuse 😦 anyone else having this issue?! All I see is the real dancing wumples and I don’t have the second one!

    • You can’t see both wumples next to the mailbox at the house you phoned wumples from? That’s strange, I don’t know why they aren’t both there, sorry Maybe you should contact EA?

26. I cant find the santas sleigh. Cant find it in the inventory

    • it isn’t in the outdoor section of the inventory as shown in the picture in the post? If not sorry there isn’t much I can do to help, you will have to contact EA as this appears to be a technical issue.

27. Can we complete the quest less than 12 days? And how about if we are missing it one day can we still make it?

    • yes, you have to complete it in less than 12 days to get the teddy bear.
      you can’t miss a day because if you don’t complete that day on that day it is added on to the next day.

      • What time does the daily quest end? I have about 3hrs left to melt the candy cane and it’s 11pm. Does the day end at midnight or a little after. This would only seem fair since the new quest doesn’t start until 9am.

      • They don’t end, they continue onto the next day if you don’t finish them

29. In sims freeplay How do you get more LP fast without buying from the store?

    • I have all my Sims go for a drive all at once and I usually score a few LP’s each time. They drive for 3 minutes and I repeat this until I have what I need. So far this is the fastest and cheapest way I’ve found to get LP’s. Plus- pets are known for finding an LP or two 😉

30. For some reason I can not find the wumples that’s not dancing

    • You can’t see both wumples next to the mailbox at the house you phoned wumples from? That’s strange, I don’t know why they aren’t both there, sorry maybe you should contact EA?

      • Don’t know if anyone still needs this or it has been answered, but my second Wumples was in the house, not both by mailbox.

31. I know the quests stack so you don’t have to do them day by day, but if I don’t finish a day in that day do I still get the bear? Also do I get the daily prize if I don’t finish that day?

    • Yes you still daily prizes when you complete that day, regardless of the time
      And yes you will still get the bear, as long as you just complete all goals in the 12 day limit

      • When you finish, can you try to find out wether (Have I spelt that wrong?!) the teddy is like a proper sim? I will keep my fingers crossed.

34. Been cooking for 2 days now. But am stuck on level 3 in the cooking hobby its not increasing no matter how many times i cook and i used all kinds of stoves I just want to get to level 4 and cook this quiche for the grouch , helpppppp?

    • There is a glitch where hobby levels aren’t increasing correctly, you will need to contact EA about this problem so they can fix it as I cannot fix technical issues.

    • 12 days

36. My game wont let me place the mistletoe on my door frame, any suggestions?

    • It is a mistletoe door frame so the other door frame needs to be moved

      • I’d there any way of speeding up my game? Not asking you to tell me how to hack/ cheat, but I’m only on day 4. I want a living teddy!!! 😉

      • The only way is by using LPs to speed through the tasks but you still can’t start the latest day until it has been released 🙂

37. Writing from New Zealand (so a bit ahead of time for the rest of the world), just saying for day five the first ingredient to break sugar is duckfeather, coölect them from the ducks in your park, 2 hrs and something.

    • It goes up as soon as I can put it up, which is usually within 2 hours, I can only start the goals at 9am GMT- it is the best I can do.

    • You can also start the day’s quest like any other person – without any guidance except the instructions from the game. The fact that she lists all of the tasks here for us is a privilege!

40. Will the bear cost us level points just as it did on the thanksgiving quest and the trike or will it be free. Any guesses????

    • the first bear is free, they cost 500,000 after that

42. Just an observation… It is interesting how “collecting the feathers” is exactly like feeding the ducks and the sim doesn’t have to bend or get close to the ducks… Also interesting how some simple tasks can take so long.

44. Has anyone else experienced issues such as:
    1. having to do some tasks twice because they didn’t register (I reached the 2nd step – find soil – and when I thought I finished it and went to collect it, the game said I had to find some duck feathers and so it set me back almost 3h)
    2. time not passing correctly (I had a 2h30m task and about 2h later I went to check on it and it said I had about 2h15m left ) Happened to anyone else?
    Also THANK YOU so much for taking your time to do this site, has been immensely helpful!

    • 1. I would suggest you save it to the cloud before closing as it seems it hasn’t saved the last thing you did on the game
      2. When this happens I find if I close the game and open it again it sorts out the problem

45. Has anyone received resolution after their sleigh and Santa disappearing? My sleigh disappeared 2 days ago but I was still able to access the workshop by clicking on Santa. Last night Santa disappeared too. I’ve contacted EA and am waiting on a response. Just curious if anyone else had had this problem resolved.

    • The only way I have heard about is going to a neighbours then going back to your town, the sleigh should reappear

46. Good news for those who left their sleigh at the workshop! This happened to me yesterday as well as Santa no longer appearing on my SimTracker but today I completed a social task (plant pumpkins @ neighbors) and when my Sim returned to his home the Sleigh had mysteriously reappeared in front of his house. I hope the same happens for everyone else that found themselves in the same predicament.

47. So that if the quests stacks then we have to make it fast by using LPs? I meant if we miss a day we can use lp right so that we can get the bear within 12 days?? Any suggestions because I installed sims 1 day after the Xmas mishap quest.. And now I’m still in the phone Wumble.. Should I use LP now or later or is it possible without LP? Thanks sorry for interrupting.. =))

    • Yes, you can speed up goals using LPs, it is your choice when you use them, you could just use them to speed up in the last hour of some long tasks, for example if a task is 2hours 20 minutes you can wait until it gets to 1hour 59 minutes and then use an LP to speed that up
