3. While you are collecting soil you can’t start a sim gardening. All the plots have collect soil as only option So if a daily quest involves gardening, you have to wait 2 1/2 hours or use LP to hurry the collect soil task. So if you plan on someone gardening, start it first (any that are already started will be fine) and then collect garden soil. I bet the same thing is going to happen to refrigerators when I get to my next ingredient, so I’d better make sure I’ve had everyone who needs to eat leftovers do it first.

   • I know, luckily you can still eat leftovers when you get the goal to collect the fridge light

4. I just wanted to take the time to tell you how much I truly appreciate you time and dedication to your gaming and blog. I am sure it is very difficult and demanding to take on so many requests, comments, and questions constantly. You are so organized and thorough with each addition to your blog. I only started playing SIMS Freeplay a few months back but right away I needed help and I found your blog online. So far it has surpassed many others by leaps and bounds and continue to come back excited to find exactly what I’m looking for. You should be very proud of yourself young lady. You have a following that look to you for guidance in something that makes them happy even if it’s just a few short minutes a day. But I am not a shamed to admit that I have a problem and I play about an hour a day. A very happy hour a day because of you. Thank you very much! Keep up the awesome job your doing! 😃

7. This last update changed a few things. So far I have seen that the ballet and karate are no longer hobbies. Your preteen and still do them but it is not in the hobby list. The other thing is that my seniors can no longer garden! What’s up with that? But not teenagers are allowed to garden. Has anyone else seen these and other changes?

   • They haven’t been in the hobby list for several updates now
     And my seniors can still garden

8. I can’t get back to santas workshop, he isn’t on my sims list anymore!

   • Can you not get there using the sleigh?

9. When I was collecting duck feathers, I used a preteen and it completed immediately! Just a tip! I tried it on my sons iPad and it worked again!

    • What sim are you using, try with an adult

11. It won’t let me click on the light house. Do you know what or what I need to do to answer the 3rd riddle?

      The answer is lighthouse, you don’t need to click on it.

      • You could try using one at a neighbours house but I have no idea if this completed the goal

14. The game failed to give me one of my free Christmas windows. It’s no big deal, because it was the single round window, and I didn’t know where to put it anyway. I was just wondering if anyone else had that issue.

15. Hi, just wanted to say thank you so much for doing this! I read your post for every task and it is so helpful. I like to have my sims go to work or plant but I never knew how many people I would need for the next task. But now I can check what is coming up and plan accordingly. I love that! Thank you!

16. Hi. First of all, I’d like to save that I LOVE your blog! You give so much of your time to put all of this together & you’re SO patient with all the questions. (I usually try to read thru them before I ask a question to see if anyone else already asked the same thing :D).
    Anyway, this not a question, but an observation. During day 5 of this Great Xmas Mishap where the sim must find garden soil & collect it, a person cannot have any of their other sims do any gardening during this time… Every soil plot says “Collect Soil.” That is what I usually do, have most of my sims gardening to make money, while I wait for other sim’s task to finish.. Aw well. 2.5 hours without gardening won’t break the bank. Hahaha.

20. I know this is off topic and I’m sorry for it. I’m running Sims Freeplay on a Kindle Fire and I’ve looked everywhere but I can’t find a blue icon for Free LPs in the Home Store. I have 3 tabs labeled “Simoleons & LP”, “Social”, and “Specials” but none of them have that blue icon that I’ve heard so much about. Did they discontinue its use or is it just not available for my device? Sorry for the off topic comment! Love your site, I check it 3-4 times a day because it’s so extremely useful! Thank you for making it. 🙂

    • Sometimes they remove this icon from the game, then put it back in another update, I don’t know why

22. I’m having issues with Day 2 first task the Sleigh, I know it’s not the Inflatable Sleigh. Found that out after, Santa left the house… so how do I find the real sleigh, or contact Santa again? Looked all over the land for a crashed Sleigh, can’t find. I’m playing Sims Freeplay on a Samsung Galaxy S5, so an Android phone. Any help greatly appreciated. 🙂

    • It is in your inventory in the outdoor decoration section, as shown in the picture in the post.

28. Hey can you help me? It’s never done this before, it’s jus with this update, but almost every time I go on the game it crashes. This means I am not getting far with the Christmas quest. This seems to happen the most in santa’s workshop. Any reason why and what should I do about it? Thanks 🙂

    • The reason is probably low RAM, this is the memory the game needs to play the game, not space needed to store the game.
      The only fix, not a permentant fix but it should work for a while is turning the device off and on again and making sure all background apps are closed, this should allow you to complete a few goals before it crashes again if RAM is the problem

30. Hello. Thanks for your great help with this website, Anyway with the xmas quest will i still get the bear even though im a few hour behind? Im doing all the quest but at night time is when i get to my daily quest and then i go to sleep and wake up having to finish that one quest and then i end up doing the next day quest, so since this is happing will i still get the bear? Even though im still finishing the quest…

    • You can just take a picture of the space where it would be

39. Why i cant Take a photo of the fire station (on the town map, zoom into the station and press the camera button)
    I was zoom the fire station then press camera button in the top corner of the screen but isnt works.. what should i do? Im stuck this task.. please help

      • Apparently taking the picture from different angles can fix this problem.

      • You have to take the picture from a different angle. I had to take the picture like 4 times before i got it right. Try moving your screen so that your behind the firehouse.

40. Help. My sleigh is at the workshop. I have been just clicking on Santa in the sim tracker to get back and forth but now my Santa isn’t showing in the tracker. How do I get back to the workshop. I have checked every house for the sleigh. It isn’t there.

    • The only way I have heard to fix this is by going to a neighbours then going back to your town, the sleigh should reappear

41. Is the hobby store (promotions r us) the only way to get the telescope? I do not have anywhere near enough $$ (or time) to get it built before the daily xmas quest is up.

    • You don’t need to, use the one in the park.

      • I do not have a telescope in my park normally. Does one appear when that task pops up (still have a little time in the planning with another sim task)?

        What should I do? And what is the exact place where the telescope is in the park? Thank you.

      • There is a picture in the post showing you where telescope can be fouud in the park, near the ducks, try closing the game and opening it again if you can’t see it.

42. Why are the tasks getting longer? Ugh… I feel like I’m going to start falling behind.

45. Do you have to complete each quest all in one day? With how long it takes to do all the tasks, I end up spending a couple lp points everyday just to get them done before midnight.

    • No you don’t, you just have to complete all goals in the 12 day limit

46. Hey! I’m just wondering how you get to finish all of these quests before they’re released to the rest of us.

    • They are released at different times for different places, I start these goals as 9am each day when they start for me.

47. If u dont have fire house can u still take a pic and it count cause i need to add another sim plus i have to build the fire house.. Thts gunna take 2 days….

Hi, is it possible to complete all of Day 6’s (today 12/19) quests within the time limit of 9 am (when they start) until 12 am without using LPs to speed up tasks? because I’m doing the math and it just seems like all of the tasks, even with a 3 star computer, will go past midnight and I started promptly at 9 this morning when they were made available. Can you still get the nutcracker decoration even if you finish the quest past midnight? Thanks…sorry to be a bother…

    • You don’t need to finish at midnight, you can finish the tasks whenever and still get the daily prize
