This is a guide to getting married in The Sims Freeplay, it can be a bit confusing so hopefully this guide will help! Firstly you need to unlock the ability for your sims to get married, you do this by completing the Love is in the Air Quest which unlocks from level 7 (you do marry two sims in this quest so this post is just a refresher guide)
If you complete that quest in the time limit you will unlock the wedding dresses and suits as well so future sims can get married in style!
Thanks to Ann for the picture!
Once the quest is complete adult and senior sims can get married, to do this you need to select the romantic options at each relationship level until you get the option to propose marriage. The table below shows how long it takes to reach the next stage:
When you get the option to Propose Marriage you will get a list of rings to choose from, starting from the cheapest to the most expensive:
Vending Machine Dinosaur Ring- S1,750
Mood Ring- S8,050
Silver Ring- 3LP
White Gold Ring- 6LP
Eternity Ring- 10LP
Which ring should I choose?I always go for the most expensive, mainly because they usually say no if you go for the cheap rings! Why waste more money to just be rejected?

Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 14?

I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?
No, you cannot redo quests
Can I still get the prize if I don’t complete in the time limit?
No, the only way to get the limited time prizes is by completing the quest in the time limit
I don’t like this quest! Can I just skip it?
No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one
Why can’t I find the playhouse in the toddler section?
You need to complete the hobby for the first time using the one at the swim center before it is available in buy mode
Some times are slightly different on my game, why is this?
Times may vary depending on the star rating of the item you are using, as the higher star rating an item has the quicker you will complete a goal
Some times are really off/ different goals show for me, why is this? This will be because the quest has been updated recently, I try my best to keep these posts up to date but it is difficult as I cannot redo every quest each time the game is updated. If you notice any changes please let me know so I can update the post

I used to just post every seasonal quest as and when it appeared but I really don’t have the time to be doing that everytime there is a new one anymore and as they all roughly follow the same pattern I thought I would just create this guide to completing them in the time.
So with seasonal quests you get about a month (30 days) to get them completed in time to unlock the prize- usually a nice floor decoration.
After the rough list of the quests there are tips on how you can complete within the time limit!
This rough list of quests isn’t exact- the ovens aren’t called special oven 1 or 2, they have fancy names and the decorations are usually things like windows, lamps and plants.
Ask for items* -place varies depending on whether you are playing bakery or restaurant story
(x) is replaced by a number, so it may say serve (x) recipe 1 and mean serve 8 mochas
Buy (x) wallpaper and (x) flooring
Ask for (x) items*
Buy special oven 1
Serve (x) recipe 1
Ask for items*
Buy (x) chairs and (x) tables
Buy (x) decorations
Serve (x) recipe 2
Buy (x) counters
Visit (x) community members
Leave (x) tips
Buy (x) decorations
Serve (x) recipe 3
Buy (x) decorations
Buy special oven 2
Prepare and serve (x) recipe 1
Prepare and serve (x) recipe 2
Prepare and serve (x) recipe 3
How to complete in the time limit
You need money- lots of money! To be able to buy all the items you need and paying for the recipes
You need good time management- some early recipes only take an hour so you have got to be able to be on at a certain time otherwise the recipes will spoil
You need neighbours- to be able to send you the parts needed for the ovens and to send you the items you need
You need 3 or 4 of the first special oven- to be able to complete in time
You need at least 6 of the second special oven- to be able to complete in time
