YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THE BIRD FEEDING QUEST BEFORE YOU CAN BEGIN THIS QUEST

Completing this quest unlocks another senior hobby, the quilting hobby. If you complete this quest within the time limit you will unlock the patchwork teddy bear for toddlers to play with. You can still complete this quest once the time limit is up to unlock the quilting hobby but you won’t get the teddy

NOTE: the next quest allows your sims to age and die BUT you can reverse them to the beginning of the life stage for free so they can still live forever!

Call a friend using a phone- 4 minutes
Bring a sim to the park
Gaze serenely on a park bench- 9 hours

Ask a sim about the serene gaze- 3 minutes 42 seconds

Cook pizza- 40 minutes (need to be level 2 in cooking with a one star microwave to make pizza) (can be started early)
Give some pizza to another sim- 1 hour

Feed ducks in park- 12 minutes (if you use a toddler this goal will only take 4 minutes) (can be started early)

Paint a picture (using an easel- can buy from promotions r us)- 3 hours (can be started early)

Freak out over amazing picture- 1 minute

Draw out chess game- 1 day 20 minutes

High five a sim- 1 second (two sims need to be friends to get this option)

Call the old sim back (using a phone) – 4 minutes

Get overexcited at another sim- 1 minute

Search for quilting online (using a computer)- 4 minutes 57 seconds

Drive to the quilt fair (click on a car on your drive, if you don’t have a car buy one from the car dealership)- 19 hours 30 minutes

Make a fancy coffee- 4 minutes
Use power tool (plant)- 2 hours 25 minutes
Heat hands in warm water (using a sink)- 4 minutes 24 seconds

Play ‘quilting mama’ game (using a tv)- 11 hours 30 minutes

Get the quilting kit (from promotions r us store for S2,500)

The quilting kit can only be used by seniors, once brought it can be found in the inventory section under the hobby and career tab to place in your home.

You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 25 before you can start this quest

Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 25?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically

The life dreams and legacies is the next quest but I don’t want my sims to die, what should I do?
Stay on this quest, if you don’t complete this quest your sims will not age and die
You can stay on this quest for as long as you want

Does a senior have to complete these goals?
No, an adult can

How do I send my sim to the park?
Go to the park and click on the whistle next to a sim who isn’t busy on the simtracker,this post explains more about the simtracker

Pizza is locked, how do I cook it?
Your sim needs to be level 2 at cooking and have a microwave at that house

How do I give pizza to another sim?
Just click on a sim and select give pizza

What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it.
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work

How do I place an easel in my house once I have brought it from the promotions r us store?
You can find it in your inventory under career and hobby items

I don’t get the option to draw out a chess game, why?
Are you using an adult sim and the chess board in the park?

Do I need two sims to draw out a chess game?
No, you only need one

Why don’t I have the option to high five another sim?
Your sims need to be friends to get this option

I don’t have a car or the car dealership built yet, can I get a car without it?
Yes you can build a house that comes with a car, these can be found in my House Guides Part One and Part Two

Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it

What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?
A teddy bear

What happens if I don’t complete in the time limit, can I still finish this quest?
Yes you have to finish it to unlock the quilting hobby before you can move onto the next quest

I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?
No, you cannot redo quests

Can I still get the prize if I don’t complete in the time limit?
No, the only way to get the limited time prizes is by completing the quest in the time limit

I don’t like this quest! Can I just skip it?
No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one

Some times are slightly different on my game, why is this?
Times may vary depending on the star rating of the item you are using, as the higher star rating an item has the quicker you will complete a goal

The Sims Freeplay- Hobbies: Ghost Hunting

GHOST HUNTERS QUEST – HAUNTED ITEMS – ADULT SIMS ONLY – PRIZES: GHOST TANK AND 5LP

Adult sims will be able to complete this hobby once you have completed the Ghost Hunters Quest. Once you have, you will need to buy haunted objects from the home store and place them in a sims house.

NOTE: Once you place the ghost hunting items in your house the lights will flash every so often which can be an issue for some players so please bare that in mind.

What are haunted items?
These are items in the home store which have a red ghost symbol on them:

You can buy as many as you want so you can have as many adult sims as you want completing this hobby at once

Once placed tap on the item and select the option ‘Search for Ghosts’ the time varies slightly depending on the star rating the item you brought has:

1 Star haunted objects- 3 mins 30 seconds
2 star haunted objects- 3 minutes 9 seconds
3 star haunted objects- 2 minutes 48 seconds

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head, a ghost will then appear, you need to then tap the ghost three times before it escapes to find one of the ghost collectibles. If the ghost escapes you will not get a ghost collectible.

Haunted items need recharging after you use them so you have to wait before using them to search again (you can get around this by getting as many haunted items as possible in your house or building the Haunted House if you completed the Ghost Hunter Quest in the time limit!)

Time for recharging varies depending on the star rating the haunted object has:

3 star- 10 minutes
2 star- 20 minutes
1 star- 30 minutes

Every time you search for ghosts your ghost hunting hobby skill level up percentage will increase, once you reach 100% you will level up, there are 8 levels. You need to reach level 8 to be able to unlock all of the ghost collectibles, once unlocked you will be able to find them.

The table below shows the level up percentage:

For example you will need to search for ghosts twice to reach level 2 from level 1

The next table shows you for each level what ghost collectibles you unlock (so you can then find those ones too) and also the level up reward that a second and future sims will receive when they level up in this hobby:

NOTE: only the first sim completing this hobby needs to get to level 8 to unlock all the collectibles, future sims will be able to find any collectible even if they are only on level 1 in this hobby!

You won’t find a new collectible each time, you will get repeats, if this happens just keep going, you will find them eventually! If it is still taking too long you can use the lucky spin on the row where you cannot find the item, this will cost LPs, when you click on the LP button it will clear the row and give you a random collectible on that row so you aren’t guaranteed a new item (you will get back any other collectibles you already had in that row) Need to earn some LPs to use the lucky spin?

The completed ghost hunting collection is shown below, once you complete the collection you need to click ‘start a new collection/ hunt again’ at the top of the hobby collection screen, this clears the board so you can complete the collection again to earn more rewards (you will only get the option to restart the hobby collection when you have completed the collection):

The first time you complete this collection you will unlock an item for each row, further times you complete this collection you will earn XPs when you complete a row in the hobby but to complete the collection you need to find all 18 of the collectibles

The rewards for completing each row are:

First row: Spooky Stairs (stairs section- S40,000)

Second row: Frightening Flooring (floors section- S160 each)

Third row: Halloween Table (dining room section- S900)

Fourth row: Wicked Wallpaper (walls section- S15 each)

Fifth row: Haunted Elevator (stairs section- S250,000)

Sixth row: Teen Roman Costumes (free in wardrobe under outfits for teens once you build the costume and swim store)

You will also unlock the ghost containment tank when you complete the whole collection for the first time (which can be found in the decorations section and costs S8,000)

From the second time onwards each time you complete the collection you will earn 5LP

The Sims Freeplay- Hobbies: Woodworking

WOODWORKING BENCH – ADULT SIMS ONLY – PRIZES: DOG KENNEL, FOOSBALL TABLE and 3LP

Only Adults can complete the woodworking hobby, to begin this hobby you need to buy the woodworking bench from the promotions r us store and place it in one of your sims houses or you can use the benches at the community center once you have completed the Multi Story Renovations Quest.

I cannot find it in my home store to place it? You need to look in your inventory under the hobby and career items section

I cannot place the woodworking bench, it says its locked/ limited item, what do I do? You will have this problem if you try and place it from the new items tab, look in your inventory instead to be able to place the woodworking bench in one of your sims houses.

You can buy as many as you want so you can have as many adult sims as you want completing this hobby at once

Once placed tap on it and select one of the options:

Quick Practice- 5 hours
Carve Magnum Opus- 12 hours 30 minutes

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head, you may get a woodworking collectible straight away or have to play the mini game if your sim made a doll:

The doll will run to the pipes on the machinery to the left of the screen- your sim will rush to a window. You need to get the doll to the window your sim is at, if it is going the wrong way you can tap on it to change the dolls direction (you will only get this minigame if you complete the hobby at the community center, if you do it at home you don’t need to chase the dolls!)

Every time you complete one of the options above your woodworking hobby skill level up percentage will increase, once you reach 100% you will level up, there are 6 levels. You need to reach level 6 to be able to unlock all of the woodworking collectibles, once unlocked you will be able to find them.

The table below shows the level up percentage for each option:

NOTE: if you are completing a woodworking time limited hobby event the percentage increases quicker during these events than the normal amounts shown in the table below

For example if you did the 12 hour 30 minute option, you would need to do this 5 times or the 5 hour option 17 times to reach level 3 from level 2.

The completed woodworking collection is shown below, once you complete the collection you need to click ‘start a new collection’ at the top of the hobby collection screen, this clears the board so you can complete the collection again to earn more rewards (you will only get the option to restart the hobby collection when you have completed the collection):

You will earn XPs when you complete a row in the hobby but to complete the collection you need to find all 12 of the collectibles

The rewards for completing this collection are a dog kennel, foosball table and 3LP:

The first time you complete the collection you receive a free premium dog kennel (which can be found in the pet section of buy mode)
The second time you receive a free foosball table (which can be found in living room section of buy mode)
From the third time onwards each time you complete the collection you will earn 3LP

Time Limited Hobby Events– the woodworking hobby appears often in these events, to complete these you have to complete the woodworking hobby a certain amount of times during the time limit to unlock all of the prizes, you can find a list of time limited hobby events here. If you want to complete these time limited hobby events then have one sim get to level six in this hobby before the next event starts so you only have to do the shortest option when the event begins!

YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND QUEST BEFORE YOU CAN BEGIN THIS QUEST

Once you complete the mysterious island quest this quest will begin, this quest will show you how to complete monuments on the island. If you complete this in the 2 day time limit you will receive a treasure chest full of Artifacts, LP, XP and more! You can still complete this quest once the time limit is up but you won’t get the treasure chest prize

How long does this quest take to complete?

Times may vary depending on the star rating the item has.

Go to the mysterious island (click on the bridge)

Tap on a monument (symbols are rock, water, air and fire)

Read big book of stuff- 21 hours 30 minutes (can be started goal early)

Leftovers from a fridge- 18 seconds
Search for artifacts in the garbage- 8 minutes 30 seconds (you need to kick over the garbage first to get this option)

Find the third artifact (you get them at random by baking, gardening and using objects, you can see if you get one because a material will appear above your sims head) TIP: just plant peppers until you find it! or have a shower- you just need to do something quick!

Upgrade the riches of terra to level 1 (first monument-rock, click on it and click upgrade now)

QUEST IS COMPLETE!

Once you upgrade all 4 monuments to level 25 you unlock the volcano! Find out more in my Mysterious Island Monuments post

Time Limited Prize: Treasure Chest

Is the prize worth it? Yes, the treasure chest contains the items as shown in the image below and also 3,000XP!

The treasure chest location is on the mysterious island in the sea as shown in the image below:

You can only collect the chest once

How do I visit the island?
Click on the mysterious island bridge, this will take you to the island

What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work

I cannot find the third artifact, where do you find them?
You get them randomly by baking, gardening and using objects, I cannot tell you where to find them as any action can give you one. Try planting peppers or any other action that takes seconds to try and get it quickly

How long does it take to upgrade the riches of terra?
Go to the island and click on it and select upgrade and it will complete straightaway

What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?

Once you reach level 10 your game needs to download additional content, this link explains what it is but it doesn’t say how to do it, I’m guessing your game should do it automatically. If you still can’t progress you may need to contact the makers to see if they can fix this for you

The Sims Freeplay- Hobbies: Fishing

FISHING ROD – ADULT AND SENIOR SIMS – PRIZES: FISHERSIM OUTFIT, WALLPAPER, POSTERS AND LP

Adults and seniors can fish using the fishing rod at the park (and at the campgrounds and beach when you build those places)

Only 1 sim can fish at a time using each fishing rod so if you only have the park then only one sim can fish, if you have the park and campgrounds built then 2 sims can fish.

Once you have brought your sim to the park/ campgrounds/ beach, click on the fishing rod and select one of the options:

Go Fishing- 10 minutes
Unwind- 1 hour
Settle In- 9 hours
24 Hour Fishathon- 1 day

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head, your sim will either catch a fish or will be caught by a giant fish- you will need to click on the exclamation mark 3 times when the fish jumps to be spat out:

If you don’t manage to click 3 times the fish will still spit out your sim and disappear but you will not earn a fish for the collection.

TIP: senior sims will not be caught by the giant fish

If your sim just catches a fish or you save them from the giant fish you will earn a fish collectible. Every time you complete one of the 4 fishing options above your fishing hobby skill level up percentage will increase, once you reach 100% you will level up, there are 8 levels. You need to reach level 8 to be able to unlock all of the fish collectibles, once unlocked you will be able to find them.

For example you could do the day option once, the 9 hour option once and then the 1 hour option to reach level 8 from level 7
