To start this quest you need to build the castle on the mysterious island. If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock pet fairies! You can still complete this quest once the time limit is up to unlock the castle but you won’t get the fairies
You cannot complete this quest at the same time as any other discovery quest
HOW LONG DOES THIS QUEST TAKE TO COMPLETE?
Times may vary depending on the star rating an item has
- Send a sim to the castle
- Search bushes near the castle- 1 minute 20 seconds
- Say hello to the fairy- 3 minutes
- Pick flowers near the castle- 10 minutes
- Show fairy the flowers- 5 minutes
- Ask about chivalry- 4 hours 30 minutes (talk to the fairy)
- Dream about royalty in a bed- 10 hours
- Cook brisket in the park- 1 day (using a barbecue)
- Have 4 sims at the park
- Call to meal
- Tell the fairy about the feast- 3 hours 30 minutes
- Thank the fairy- 5 minutes
- Build courage on a park bench- 11 hours 30 minutes
- Catch the monster fish- 4 minutes 48 seconds each (it took me 3 times before I caught it) using the fishing rod on the pier in the park
- Tell the fairy a fish story- 3 hours 30 minutes
- Search SimList on a computer- 7 hours
- Grow beans- 9 hours (can be started early)
- Have two sims in the park
- Trade beans with a sim- 10 hours 30 minutes
- Return to fairy
- Answer yes to the fairy’s question- 5 minutes (select the option yes I can!)
- Encourage the fairy- 1 day
- High five the fairy- 1 second
- Ask the fairy about the bridge- 5 seconds
QUEST IS COMPLETE!
You can now access the castle and start working on the Archery Hobby (by clicking on the targets in the castle gardens) once you complete the hobby you will unlock the royal gallery and the Jester Hobby

Where do I find the prize? In the pet store
Cost?
- Green one star fairy costs S25,000
- Blue two star fairy costs S50,000
- Pink three star fairy costs S150,000
- Purple three star fairy costs 30SP
Once brought you can find a fairy flower at the house next to the mailbox
Place in your house, the flower will then take one day to grow into the fairy
Is the prize worth it? Definitely! They are so cute and not too expensive. You can talk to them and they can do magic tricks (make your sim float) they also can find simoleons and LP around the house!

You need to select the option on the fishing rod in the park until you catch it
What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work

How many fairies can you have in each household?
2, aslong as you have no other pets in that house as you can only have 2 pets in each house
I just got a Purple Fairy and the first treasure that if found after coming out of the flower is 1 LP. So yeah, might be helpful to include that aside from Simoleons, they can also find LPs for you! 🙂

No, there are currently no accessories for fairies or dragons
Can you make your sims Royalty? I thought it said so in the description when you bought the castle…
Not really, you can dress them in royal clothes and have them sit on the throne to issue decrees at the castle but that is about it
Please help me every time i travel to my neighbor to do a task my sim lost his power and send back to his home pee on himself what shall i do
I don’t know why this happens sorry, you will probably need to contact EA to see if they can fix this for you

I am saving my social points to get the purple fairy, since I work hard to save my simoleons and LP to spend on pets. I also don’t really use social points for anything and I only have to save 15 more points and thanks to the in game freebies from watching 6 videos each day I don’t need to spend real money.
Hi again weightless magic. I was wondering if you know if it’s possible to take care of your Sims’ needs (like eating, using the bathroom, etc) when they are at the castle? I’ve been sending my Sim back to her house to take care of those things, but would love it if it were possible to do so right at the castle. Oh, also, is there a way to sleep at the castle, or is that something they have to go home for as well?

Unfortunately the castle doesn’t have a toilet, sink or fridge for your sims to use to fulfil their needs so you will need to send them home, they also can’t sleep as the castle but they can sit in a chair and that will increase their energy need

When I go to the castle I can’t do any actions of I try it freezes my game and I contacted ea ages ago and they haven’t replyes can you help me pls 😩😩😩
Try restarting your device before going back to the castle, hopefully that will stop it crashing for a while
I was wondering… If you don’t have the pet store and you complete this quest within the 7 day time limit, and later on you get the pet store, will I be able to get fairies? Thanks🙂

If the option is there on the fishing rod at the campground then yes you can.

Hi! I love your blog! It has been so helpful. I have a question. I’m on the Royal Lineage Quest. Very last task is ‘Ask the Fairy about the bridge’. I’ve had both a Teen & an Adult ask the fairy & both have responded with the feet symbol. It seems like a glitch. I’ve turned off my device & restarted. I contacted support (through Firemonkeys), but my request won’t go through. It keeps telling me to recheck my email. (I have & it’s correct). It’s very frustrating because I know this should only take 5 seconds & the quest would be done. Any words of wisdom? Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks! Sorry but there isn’t much I can do as I am unable to fix technical issues, this appears to be a glitch in this latest update so you would need to contact EA to get this fixed, can you try a different email address?
When I try to ask the fairy to open bridge, she doesn’t, but instead I’m getting footstep symbol. Plz help! I also wanna say thank you for this blog, very very helpful!

Can somebody please help I am on the last step “ask fairy about the bridge” and I did but it still won’t open!! All that pops is the bubble above the sims head with the shoe prints. I still have 20 hours on the quest!! I am upset helpp

Ok, so.. I wasn’t able to complete the quest in time. Am I able to hold off on completing the quest until it comes back around again with the ability to have fairies as pets? Or was this my only shot at getting them??
If you didn’t complete in the time limit you will be unable to get fairies.

Hi, just a quick question about fairies… There’s a sale currently on for pets and pet-related items, and it lasts for 6 days. I haven’t done the Royal Lineage quest yet, so I don’t know if pet fairies are also on sale. If they are, could you please post or write a reply on how much they cost? Are you using an adult sim? If you are maybe try with a different sim to see if this will work.
