To begin this discovery quest you need to find the puppy in the park. If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock the puppy and kitten outfits, you can still complete this quest once the time limit is up to unlock the puppies, kittens and hobbies but you won’t get the outfits
You cannot complete this quest at the same time as any other discovery quest

Are you currently completing the An Alien Concept: Weather Machines Quest? Don’t start this one yet! They both need Osiris to complete
- Say hello to the small dog- 1 minute
- Call for the puppy- 5 minutes
- Pet the small dog in the park- 45 minutes
- Read the puppy’s collar- 5 minutes
- Wait for the owner at the park- 9 hours (bench)
- Pick up the puppy- 4 seconds
- Return home with the puppy
- Let the puppy on the ground- 3 seconds (click on sim holding the puppy)
- Check lost puppy ads on a computer- 9 hours
- Buy a food dish (S5,000 from pet section)
- Check a refrigerator for puppy food- 4 minutes
- Place puppy food in the dish- 1 minute
- Read a book on puppies- 19 hours
- Check voice messages- 4 minutes (phone)
- Call back the number- 4 minutes (phone)
- Sit with the puppy- 19 hours (pick the puppy up then click on the couch) NOTE: if you cannot find the puppy, you will need to contact the makers to see if they can fix this for you
- Greet Osiris- 5 minutes (you will need to put the puppy down first or use another sim)
- Show the puppy to Osiris- 3 seconds (pick puppy back up and place puppy on x)
- Pet the puppy goodbye- 15 hours 15 minutes
- Stay out of the way- 2 minutes 24 seconds (seat)
- Pet the kitten- 10 minutes
- Tell Osiris about the puppy- 10 hours 15 minutes
- Check the pet store (click the green arrow once finished looking to complete goal)
- Say goodbye to Osiris- 14 hours 15 minutes
QUEST IS COMPLETE!
You can now buy puppies and kittens from the pet store! Completing this quest also unlocks two hobbies; Puppy Pals which is the timed 7 day hobby that starts as soon as you complete this quest (buy a puppy from the pet store and the Puppy Play Mat from promotions r us and place in the house with the puppy to start this hobby) and Internet Kitten which doesn’t have a time limit to complete (buy a kitten from the pet store and the Kitten Play Box from promotions r us and place in the house with the kitten to start this hobby)

Yes, the time limit for the puppy pals hobby starts straight away once this quest is complete, you can click no when the hobby pop up appears but this does not stop the timer going down
There is no time limit for the internet kitten hobby

Hi!, That is the last goal because I finished it and got the clothes with extra 2 days lefts but one questions,
how do you age a puppy or kitten because it says to cook birthday biscuits but I don’t see any biscuits to bake on a stove and I want to age a kitten so much because the Orange kitten costs Lps and and that kitten costs $0 for the first time and then $10,000 so please help!
The biscuit can be found under baking, it is right at the end of the list

click to start the new hobby and when it says are you sure you want to do this hobby and forget about cooking click yes
That didn’t work either. Luckily his boyfriend didn’t have a hobby but that wouldn’t work at first either. The mat was too close to a door apparently
Hi! So I finished the quest and got a puppy and kitty in one of my homes. I put down some food and water and a bone for decoration. The puppy took the bone and won’t take it out of its mouth. I’ve tried everything! Please help?

I didn’t have this glitch luckily but if you are worried don’t start the quest yet, maybe wait for the next update to the game as that will hopefully fix this issue

The puppy and kitten clothes are really cute, but after completing the puppy hobby with 5 days left, (no idea how I did it that fast XD) the poodle puppy costs 68 LP and the poodle dog costs 82 LP.. NOT worth it. Wow!

Will the puppies and/or kittens grow up over time?
You can bake a biscuit on the stove for 15LPs to grow up a puppy or kitten
I bought a dog toy for my puppy and he won’t put it down! It’s been stuck in his mouth for the past 5 days. Even when he does the hobby it’s still in his mouth. How can I get him to put it down?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had come across any issues during the puppy hobby. I have unlocked the sims ability to level 6 but level 2 of the hobby remains shaded out so, no matter how many times I attempt to collect all the ‘badges’ I cannot. Tips welcome! TIA
I haven’t heard of anyone having this issue but I would recommend that you contact EA about that to see if they can fix it for you
It says you once you complete the tasks you get puppy and kitten outfits but how do you put them on your pets
build the pet salon, then you can click on the puppy or kitten you want to put the outfits on and it will take you to the outfits to choose from

Puppies and kittens cannot use the accessories available to buy, they are just for adult dogs and cats unfortunately, hopefully they will add some items for them one day!

During the task is lost the pet and contacted EA, they told me at EA it’s in the sim tracker which and that I just have to call the puppy but there’s no way I could call out the pet. Can you help on this?

What do you mean by quickly? You needed to finish in 7 days to unlock the outfits, if you completed in the time limit they would be in the pet salon when you click on a puppy or kitten, if you don’t have a puppy or kitten yet you won’t see the outfits.

I have a question though, I have read all the comments in advance to make sure that nobody else has already asked this, so I reset my game because it was terrible, even though I got to S200,000… I am now on the Nanny Knows Best quest and the Mysterious Islane quest, again. Do you mean is the puppy odyssey quest a discovery quest? If so then yes it is, you need to complete the Nanny Knows Best discovery quest before you can do this one

This is going to sound silly, but my kitten is eternally sad and petting and holding don’t seem to help any. I have a depressive kitten! I’ve decided to make him an adult in hopes it will cure this since my Sim can’t stand around all day petting a kitten, but just wondered if anyone else had this problem. And thanks so much for all the great advice 🙂
Have you tried holding the kitten then click on the sim holding the kitten and selecting hug pet? or clicking on a chair while holding the kitten and selecting relax with kitten? Both of these should increase the happiness, if not I don’t know why its not working, sorry!

You’re welcome, I’m glad they help! No, your pets will not age when you complete the life dreams quest, the only way puppies and kittens age is if you bake a birthday biscuit on the stove to make them an adult
