NEW LIVE EVENTS
The Mid-Century Mansion Live Event (no longer available) will begin on 26th July for 13 days, complete in the time limit to unlock 1950s styled items and the Mid-Century Mansion house template
The Freeplay Replay Live Event (available now) will start on 12th August for 10 days. This live event contains prizes from previous live events including Celebrity Pet, Luxury Living and French Romance.
NOTE: if you already have any of these packs you won’t need to claim them again, you will just claim the ones you already have (so if you have all the packs you won’t see this live event!)

NEW PREGNANCY EVENT
There are new time limited prizes when you complete the 9 day pregnancy event in the time limit and earn the baby bonus between 26th July-12th August
If you start the 9 day pregnancy event anytime during the time frame you have the chance of earning the maternity items in that pack if you complete the event in the time limit, for example if you start a pregnancy event on the 12th August and complete in the time limit you will earn the items above
You need to have completed the first pregnancy event in the A Bump-y Ride Quest before you can earn the maternity prizes

I think this might be the best update they’ve ever done!! 😳
Accidentally posted this under wrong update – sorry! Influence Island is giving less rewards (100, 250, 800 not 400, 600, 1000) so harder to earn enough for all prizes and also requires 10 clan mates. Contacted in game support who told me how to play (after asking what troubleshooting steps I’ve done) then said it is a game design yada yada! See comments on Facebook of others with issue. Can you help / advise?
This isn’t a glitch, they are testing out on some games a few changes to influence island events (obviously to make it even harder to complete in time) I am very much hoping it will be staying at 7 clanmates for future events.
I think they also changed something else in the gambling mechanics that makes it more likely to win a round. I have never before come close to winning Influence Island but this time I did it with time to spare.
Thanks for the clarification & all you do overall! FYI actually got more chances per day / overall. Originally started with game saying 4/4 (v 3) but gave a new one a little more than every 2 1/2 hours (was odd time I can’t recall).
That is one good change! Would be better if they gave the 4 chances but still kept the clanmates needed at 7!
I don’t know if you can help with how I can get someone to fix my issue. I have dealt with firemonkeys and online help from the game. But they are of no help with the online help telling me they don’t have permission to fix my issue. I have run out of ideas of who to contact to get the permission to fix this since 2021. I am stuck at level 56 because a hobby I finished in 2021 shows the prize I won etc. but did not check off it was done. And the item I need to try and do it again, shows I can only have one in the game but it is nowhere to be found. I even went to an EA office near me (they don’t deal with the online game) and asked him to try and find someone who can help me, but have not heard back in a month already. Mary

My Sims are frozen in completed crafting candle 8h 4m session, with one hand raised. I was able to collect the 510 candles, however they are still crafting 510 candles in the task folder and I can’t seem to have them do anything else. I tried sending to work and I tried to put the station back in inventory, but everything has been unsuccessful. One entire day has gone and I they are still stuck like this and I can still collect bonus candles. I am at the stage where I might try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I am hoping, with your expertise, you may have a solution to offer for which I would be extremely grateful. And, thank you for all the great advice and guidance you have provided over the years!
I’ve had a similar experience but I am able to click on my sims to collect once the bonus candles are out of the way, the only issue I noticed was when clicking on the sim with the plumbob above their head it won’t work so you need to click on the other sims first.
