LEVEL UNLOCKS: 13 UNLOCKS: super villain toddler outfits TIME LIMIT: 7 days PRIZE: outdoor cinema and bean bags

Once you have completed the Super Toddler Secret Mission Quest you will be able to find the super villain toddler in the park to start this quest with a toddler sim. If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock the outdoor cinema and bean bags. You can still complete this quest once the time is up to unlock the super villain toddler outfits but you won’t unlock the outdoor cinema or bean bags

You cannot complete this quest at the same time as any other discovery quest

HOW LONG DOES THIS QUEST TAKE TO COMPLETE?

Note: you need a toddler to complete this quest

Times may vary depending on the star rating an item has

Use a telescope (you can buy a telescope in the promotions r us store)- observe strange lights- 2 minutes

Splish splash in a bath- 4 minutes (you need a toddler and an adult to complete this task)
Have a toddler pretend to sleep- 9 hours 30 minutes (bed)

Send a toddler to the park
Boldly approach the hero- 2 minutes

Hide behind a bench- 4 minutes 30 seconds

Apologise to Mini Masterforce- 10 minutes

Accept mission- 10 hours 45 minutes

Tame the ducks of doom- 12 minutes (ducks in park)

Practice evil laugh- 14 hours 45 minutes

Ask about mission- 5 minutes

Sneak back home (use the house with the arrow button on the simtracker to send your toddler home)

Consult teddy bear- 9 hours 30 minutes (using tea set from the toddler section of the home store)

Catch toddler out of bed- 1 minute (have an adult select the interaction on a toddler)

Plot escape route with dollhouse- 12 hours 30 minutes (using dollhouse from the toddler section of the home store)

Return to the park (send your toddler back to the park)
Decline villainous scheme- 10 minutes

Send your toddler home
Give toddler a big hug- 11 hours 45 minutes (have an adult select the interaction on a toddler)

Demand peace cookies- 17 hours 45 minutes (have a toddler select the interaction on an adult)

Order cookies (phone)- 1 minute

Explain bedtime- 5 minutes (have an adult select the interaction on a toddler)

Ask about school- 15 hours 45 minutes (have a toddler select the interaction on an adult)

Hug Mini Masterforce- 1 day 45 minutes

QUEST IS COMPLETE!

Once you complete this quest you will find the super villain costumes in the wardrobe under outfits for your toddler sims to wear:

Prize: Outdoor Cinema and Bean Bags

Where can I find them? Bean bags can be found in the living room and preteen section and the outdoor cinema can be found in the outdoor decorations section

Cost? First one of each is free, after that the bean bags cost S750 each and the outdoor cinema costs S30,000 each

Is it worth it? Definitely! Who doesn’t want a TV for your sims to watch in the garden?!

How do I start this discovery quest?
You need to complete the Super Toddler Secret Mission Quest first and then you can find the super villain toddler in the park to start this quest

Do you need a toddler for this quest?
Yes you do

Why can’t I do this discovery quest yet?
You cannot do more than one discovery quest at the same time, if you are currently on another one (the list can be found here) you will not be able to do this one until that one is completed

Can I do discovery quests at the same time as a main quest?
Yes you can

Do I have to do this quest?
If you don’t start the quest you don’t have to do it at all but if you have already started it you need to complete it before you can move on to the next quest

I haven’t started this quest yet, will it still be available when I want to do it?
Yes it will be, you can choose to start it whenever you like

Do I need to buy a telescope to observe the strange lights?
Yes you cannot complete this without a telescope in your town

It says I need an adult to splish splash in the bath, why?
An adult is needed to supervise the toddler while they are in the bath

How do I send my sim to the park?
Go to the park and click on the whistle next to a sim who isn’t busy on the simtracker, this post explains more about the simtracker

Where do I buy the teddy bear from?
You can find the tea set in the toddler section of buy mode to complete this task

What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?
An outdoor cinema and bean bags

What happens if I don’t complete in the time limit, can I still finish this quest?
Yes you have to finish it to unlock the costumes before you can move onto the next quest

I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?
No, you cannot redo quests

Can I still get the prize if I don’t complete in the time limit?
No, the only way to get the limited time prizes is by completing the quest in the time limit

I don’t like this quest! Can I just skip it?
No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one now that you have started it, if you don’t start it you don’t have to do it

Some times are slightly different on my game, why is this?
Times may vary depending on the star rating of the item you are using, as the higher star rating an item has the quicker you will complete a goal

Some times are really off/ different goals show for me, why is this?
This will be because the quest has been updated recently, I try my best to keep these posts up to date but it is difficult as I cannot redo every quest each time the game is updated. If you notice any changes please let me know so I can update the post

EXCITING NEWS: The Sims Mobile!

As you can probably tell by the title of this post there is a brand new sims mobile game called The Sims Mobile. I don’t have much information for you yet apart from what I have been told by EA “In The Sims Mobile, we’ve included a bunch of the features you know and love from both The Sims 4 and The Sims FreePlay, as well as introduced some brand-new features, including creating and customizing Sims, building their homes, shaping your Sims’ legacy, and playing together with friends!“

I cannot tell you how excited I was watching that trailer for the first time!

As you can see from the trailer it looks like it is going to be a really high quality game and it does remind me of the sims 4 in a lot of ways especially with all the options in create a sim:

The game will be FREE but I don’t know when it will be released in your country, it is currently only available in Brazil, I haven’t got my hands on it yet either but as soon as I find out anymore information I will update this post!

Will the sims freeplay still be updated? I really hope so as these are completely different games so hopefully they can co-exist together! It would be such a shame if they got rid of the sims freeplay due to this new release.

This has been a much requested post, it has just taken me a while to get all the information collected for it! This post shows how much it costs to build each business and the time it takes as these factors increase each time you build a business.

NOTE: the amount of sims needed has been removed as you no longer need to have a certain amount of sims to build a business

If they add anymore businesses I assume they will be the same requirements as they are for 25

However some businesses that you have to build during a quest or to begin a quest do not follow this pattern, some may be completely different while others such as the Community Center take a certain amount of time to build and this doesn’t change but the cost still increases each time you build a business.

NOTE: the arcade, beach, pet park and carnival cost orbs to build not simoleons

Does building a business increase the price and time for workplaces or houses? No, building a business only increases the requirements for building another business, it will not affect a workplace or house. If you build a workplace then the requirements will increase for the next workplace only and if you built a house only the time and cost for building a new house will increase.

The Sims Freeplay- How Much Does it Cost to Build a Workplace? (Workplace Price Increases)

NOTE: this table included the profession workplaces (police station, movie studio and hospital) and Simtown High School.

However some workplaces that you have to build during a quest do not follow this pattern, some may be completely different while others such as the Simtown Elementary take a certain amount of time to build and this doesn’t change but the cost still increases each time you build a workplace.

Does building a workplace increase the price and time for simtown businesses or houses? No, building a workplace only increases the requirements for building another workplace, it will not affect a business or house. If you build a business then the requirements will increase for the next business only and if you built a house only the time and cost for building a new house will increase.

The Sims Freeplay- Party Time Live Event

THIS EVENT IS NOW OVER!

ONCE THE 8 DAY TIME LIMIT IS UP YOU WILL HAVE 2 DAYS TO PURCHASE ANY PACKS YOU HAVE LEFT– you will not be able to collect anymore arts and crafts items or coins, you have to use the resources you have, if you don’t have enough resources all you can do is use social points to buy the requirements or wait until the event returns!

Party Time!! Complete this event to unlock new party items!

Live Events are very similar to a community event but this time you don’t need help from everyone who plays the sims freeplay to unlock the prizes, there are only personal prizes this time! You firstly need to update your game to the dance party update for this event to appear

This event is only here for 8 days and the aim of it is to collect enough arts and crafts items from the arts and crafts stations (found in the event tab of buy mode) to unlock all the items in this event

NOTE: if you have participated in a Live Event before then you will find your arts and crafts stations in your inventory, you will only be able to use the candle ones until you unlock the other stations in this event

NOTE: I completed this on the Early Access Beta so some information may be slightly different but I will update the post as I complete the event.

Place a crafting station (find the candle station in the events tab of buy mode (or your inventory)- you can only buy 4)

Make some arts and crafts items (click on the candle station to make)- 23 seconds

This takes you to the prize progress tab (you can get to it by clicking on the discoball event button in the corner of the screen)

Here you will see you have collected enough items to unlock the archway entrance! When you unlock each pack, before the items are available in your home store you need to purchase them with the arts and crafts items you make- this goal is coming up!
Restock a crafting station (when the stock runs out you will have to restock before you can make anymore arts and crafts items)- You can restock instantly for 18 uses for 10SPs or restock for 2 uses which will take 10 seconds this time

Buy the archway entrance (click on the discoball event button, scroll down and click purchase- this will cost you 50 candles)

Use a coin flower patch (buy the coin flower patch from the event tab and select the spin plant option)

Check the daily goals (click on the discoball event button and find the daily goals tab- claim the ones you can!)

Remember to claim your rewards each day!

Collect bonuses (while collecting after a certain amount of time you will see the arts and crafts item appear above that sims head, click to collect the bonus item!)

Continue collecting arts and crafts items- this is the last step but the event is not over, keep collecting the arts and crafts to unlock everything!

If you want to speed up a collecting arts and crafts action it will cost you SPs, you will get the bonus gems as well if you speed it up!

Restocking

Each station (apart from the first candle one) comes with a stock of 9 which means you can use the station 9 times before it needs to be restocked (if you got your stations out of your inventory they will all need restocking first (apart from the first candle one)) When you need to restock you will have two options:

Restock 18 uses which happens instantly but will cost you 10SPs

Restock 9 uses which will take you 2 hours 30 minutes but will be free

NOTE:

if you store the station you will lose all the stock so when you place it again you will need to restock
if you cancel making something using a station you will lose that stock so if you had one stock left and then you cancelled that action you would need to restock before you can create anymore arts and crafts items

Your Progress:

Click the discoball button in the top corner of your game to see your progress

Daily Goals

Check on the first tab every day because if you complete all the daily goals you will get additional constructor coins

NOTE: remember to click CLAIM once you have completed a daily goal to collect the reward and remember to claim your free constructor coins and free items each day!

Prize Progress

The prize progress is how far you have got on this event, the more arts and crafts items you make the more prizes you will unlock

NOTE: the bar at the top of the personal progress tab shows you how close you are to unlocking an item, the more arts and crafts items you collect the more the bar will fill up. Once you have unlocked an item on the bar at the top you will be able to use the arts and crafts items you have collected and constructor coins to purchase that pack which you will then be able to find in the home store.

Earning Construtor Coins? Previously on these events I used social points on the Mega Spin Plant to win constructor points. I earn social points by completing the cooking hobby and earning LPs, I can then turn the LPs into SPs using the social point plant on a normal garden patch- this was when it cost 5LPs- the social point plant now costs 20LPs so you may want to try the option below first instead:

Or you can use 450 candles for the Spin Plant (a good way to use up any spare candles) which will also earn you constructor coins but the amounts are less than they are from the Mega Spin Plant

Laura Craft? You may have noticed at the front of one of your houses there is a board with a bubble of a person holding arts and crafts items above it, this is Laura Craft, you can buy her for real money to help you complete the event. When you buy her, you select the item you want her to make from the options: 480 candles, 720 pottery, 1080 jewelry or 1190 glassware (the amounts seem to differ for most of you and I have no idea why that is!) (you will unlock all the options once you have unlocked all the stations) and you will be able to collect them after 8 hours.

Do I think she is worth it? Definitely not! If she made constructor coins too then maybe but I’m really struggling to see how she is a good investment- even if I could afford her! I am shocked at how many people brought her before even knowing what she did!!
