The Sims Mobile- Rooted In Style Quest

Once you complete the Trending Now Story at the Fashion Studio you will be able to complete the Rooted In Style Quest so your sims can become a hairstylist!

You firstly need to complete the Good Hair Day Quest to ‘buy and place the Stylist Career Station at the Fashion Studio.’ Go to the Fashion Studio and click on the furniture button to enter buy mode, click on collections and find A Cut Above, place the Styling Chair from this collection to complete this:

Next you need to complete the Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow Quest by starting A Cut Above career story, this means beginning this career, click on the Styling Chair and click on A Cut Above to give your sim this career:

Once complete the Rooted In Style Quest will begin, you will have 4 days to complete this quest to unlock 4 new hairstyles for your sims. If you don’t manage to complete in the time limit you can’t try again

There are 22 parts to complete:

1.Earn 21 simoleons (complete events until you earn enough simoleons) Reward: 25 simoleons

2.Daydream in the Styling Chair- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy Reward: 25 simoleons

3.Envision new look at a mirror (you can use a mirror at home or the one at the fashion studio)- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy Reward: 25 simoleons

4.Complete a Stylist Career event- takes up to 55 minutes to complete* (click on the stylist chair to begin) Reward: 25 simoleons

5.Take a break on a sofa- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy Reward: 25 simoleons

6.Earn 800 simoleons (complete events until you earn enough simoleons- including the Stylist Career so your sim can reach level 3) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

7.Work a Long Shift in the Stylist Career- takes up to 7 hours to complete* (your sim needs to be at level 3 to unlock the long shift) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

8.Poll 3 sims to find out what they look for in their hair stylist- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy each Reward: 25 simoleons

9.Complete LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

10.Complete 3 Long Events Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

11.Work a Long Shift in the Stylist Career- takes up to 7 hours to complete* Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

12.Complete LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

13.Ask 3 sims about people with hair- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy each Reward: 25 simoleons

14.Complete a Long Event Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

15.Complete LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

16.Check Simstagram for the latest trends (on a sofa)- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy Reward: 25 simoleons

17.Earn 1,000 simoleons (complete events until you earn enough simoleons) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

18.Complete LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

19.Complete 2 Long Events Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

20.Change your appearance (click on the shirt button to go straight to the wardrobe/store) Reward: 25 simoleons

21.Work 2 Long Shifts in the Stylist Career- takes up to 7 hours to complete each* Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

22.Complete 2 LlamaZooms and collect rewards Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

QUEST IS COMPLETE!

*the event can be completed quicker than time shown if you complete the actions with your sims during the event

If you complete this quest in the time limit you unlock the Space Puff Pigtails Hairstyle for children sims (sorry I don’t have any children in my household at the moment so I don’t have a picture of this yet) the Braids on Braids and Retro Curls hairstyles for female adult sims and the Surfer Chic Look for male adult sims:

These are all available in 11 colours, 6 more colours are available but only if you buy them with real money:

It is a bit of a let down that we don’t unlock all the colours when we complete the quest as it is a tricky quest to complete in the time limit!

The Sims Mobile- Top Secret Mission Quest [Secret Agent Career]

Once you reach level 22 you will be able to complete the Top Secret Mission Quest, if you complete in the 4 day time limit you will unlock the Secret Agent Career, this quest used to only be available for a limited time but now it is a main quest.

Earn 25 simoleons to begin this quest Reward: 5 SimCash

There are 22 parts to complete:

1.Tap on a couch to ‘Receive Mission Instructions’- costs 3 energy, takes 5 seconds Reward: 25 Simoleons

2.Tap on a mirror to ‘Practice Deception’- costs 3 energy, takes 5 seconds Reward: 25 Simoleons

3.Change your appearance Reward: 25 Simoleons

4.Complete an event (complete the Begin a Friendship event to complete this quickly) Reward: 25 Simoleons

5.’Make a drop’ at 1 plant around town (go to parkside to find the plants in the cafe)- costs 5 energy, takes 5 seconds Reward: 25 Simoleons

6.Earn 800 Simoleons (complete career, relationship or hobby events) Reward: 25 Simoleons

7.Tap a couch to do the ‘Gathering Intel’ event- takes up to 8 hours to complete* Reward: 25 Simoleons

8.Tap on a bed to ‘Await Instructions’- costs 3 energy, takes 5 seconds Reward: 25 Simoleons

9.Earn 800 Simoleons Reward: 25 Simoleons

10.Complete 3 long events in any career, relationship or hobby Reward: 25 Simoleons

11.Tap a couch to do the ‘Deep Undercover’ event- takes up to 8 hours to complete* Reward: 25 Simoleons

Why do some of the task descriptions say [REDACTED]? It is meant to be like that, the description is redacted, I’m assuming because it is a secret mission and redacted means covering up sensitive information.

If you complete this quest you’ll be able to find the Top Secret collection in buy mode at the cafe, place the Perfectly Ordinary Elevator to get the option to start the secret agent career and Top Secret Story:

THIS QUEST IS OVER

A time limited quest to celebrate St Patrick’s Day starts at 10am on Thursday 14th March, if you complete this quest in the 4 day time limit you unlock some cute rewards!

EA provided me with the steps for this quest early, I will add more pictures of the prizes once I complete it. If you are stuck on any of the tasks let me know and I will add more information on how to complete them

The Sims Freeplay- Cars In Lots Feature Quest

LEVEL UNLOCKS: 7 (build the car dealership first) UNLOCKS: ability to add cars to house lots

Do you want to add cars to your house lots? Not just parked outside but actually inside the grid? Once you complete this feature quest you will be able to add cars anywhere on a house lot! To start this quest you need to have built the car dealership then find the mechanic at the nightclub. There is no time limit but it will cost you simoleons to begin this quest.

What is a feature quest?

A feature quest unlocks and introduces a new feature
The quest is shorter than a main or discovery quest
There is no time limit or time limited prize
Costs simoleons to start the quest (cost varies depending on your level)
You cannot start a feature quest at the same time as another feature or discovery quest
There are two feature quests currently in the game, this one and the L-Shaped Rooms Quest. You can select which feature quest you want to do when you click on Lee (if you haven’t completed the other one already)

Times may vary depending on the star rating the item has

Click on the mechanic to get the pop up to begin this quest, it will cost simoleons to begin (the amount varies depending on your level):

Speak to the mechanic- 30 seconds

Listen to Lee’s idea- 15 seconds

Check junk mail- 48 seconds (on a computer)

Get help from Lee- 2 minutes (go back to the nightclub to talk to her again)

Buy a car from the car dealer (the red sedan is free but you can buy any car to complete this)

Visit a house with a car
Move car onto a lot: open buy mode and click on the car, it will move to the grid and you can then place it like any object, click the green tick to place it

Return car to parking space: from buy mode click on the blue arrow and the car will go back to the parking space (you can also click on the car outside of buy mode and select ‘return to parking space’)

Move car to new location: go back into buy mode and move it back onto the grid and place it (you can place it on any floor and in any room that has a free space)
Take photo of the car- 15 seconds (select the option on the car with a sim)

View a car’s available actions (click on the car with a sim)

Show Lee photos- 1 minute (Lee is at the nightclub)

Celebrate- 1 minute (with Lee)

Say Goodbye to Lee- 30 seconds

QUEST IS COMPLETE!

You can now freely move cars around your house lots!

The Sims Freeplay- Adding Cars to House Lots & Driveway Homes

Once you complete the Cars In Lots Feature Quest you will be able to add cars inside the house grid so they don’t have to be in the parking space any longer! In this post I will explain how this works and also explain how to add more than one car using the driveway home template from the Grand Garages Live Event.

Moving A Car Into The House Lot

To do this you need to be in buy mode and then click on the car in the parking space, it will automatically go to the grid so you can move it and place it like you would any object.
If it is shaded red you cannot place it there as something is in the way, if it is green you can click the green tick to place it.

You don’t have to place it outside, cars can be placed on any floor and in any room as long as there is space for it:

Moving A Car Back To The Parking Space

There are two ways to do this, in buy mode you can click on the light blue arrow that appears when you click on the car or outside of buy mode click on the car and select ‘return to parking space’

Driveway Homes

If you unlock the Family Garage Home in the Grand Garages Live Event you unlock a new house template that allows you to build the house up to the footpath and add 4 cars to this house lot:

The other three car parking spaces need to be unlocked by purchasing with simoleons:

Additional Space One: S250,000

Additional Space Two: S750,000

Additional Space Three: S1,500,000

Once you purchase an additional space you will be able to add another car but you need to have more than one adult/senior sim living in this house to add more than one car otherwise it will just switch their car to the new one you have just brought. For example if you wanted 3 cars in this house you need 3 adult or senior sims living in this house.
