This quest unlocks the ability to age your toddlers to preteens! There is no time limit for this quest so I would recommend you stay on this quest for a while and save up some money for future quests

- Build Simtown Elementary- price and time varies (need more money?)
- Purchase a study desk- costs S700 (DO NOT BUY EARLY)
- Purchase a preteen bookshelf- costs S4,000 (DO NOT BUY EARLY)
- Read Harriet Putter- 4 hours (preteen bookshelf)
- Read ‘Everything You Need To Know’- 5 minutes (preteen bookshelf)
- Buy a preteen bed (DO NOT BUY EARLY)
- Buy a trampoline- costs S3,000 (DO NOT BUY EARLY)
- Celebrate the trampoline- 7 minutes 12 seconds
- Make cheese and tomato on toast- 1 minute
- Watch a movie on TV- 1 hour 40 minutes (can be started early)
- Ask advice from the thinking man- 19 hours 30 minutes (statue in park)
- Be rude to the thinking man- 57 seconds
- Play sims on a computer- 48 minutes (can be started early)

You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 15 before you can start this quest
Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 15?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
I can’t afford simtown elementary, how can I earn more simoleons?

Can I build the elementary school early?
No, you cannot build the elementary school until you get the goal in this quest
I already have one of the items it wants me to buy in this quest, will I have to buy them again?
Yes you will do, but don’t buy them before you get the goal
Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it
How do I make cheese on toast?
Select cooking on a stove, make sure you have a toaster at that house to use or you will not be able to make cheese on toast
What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work
I have played the sims on a computer but it doesn’t complete the goal, why?
Are you sure you are playing the sims, not sim city?

No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one
Some times are slightly different on my game, why is this?
Times may vary depending on the star rating of the item you are using, as the higher star rating an item has the quicker you will complete a goal

“Play the sims” can be started early, right? I’m currently talking to the thinking man statue. I have 3 toddlers right now. My friend plays the sims and it’s so funny because she likes to visit my town and cuddle my toddlers, she doesn’t have any kids yet. So, I told her I’m on this quest and my toddlers were aging up soon, and she was really mad! Then I told her they were going to have siblings and she could cuddle them.😂😂😂

Can elementary school be entered on screen?
no
Firstly your website is so helpfull! Secondly how old do sims have to be to date eachother or form any kind of relationship? Lastly what happens at the last quest when your sims die. What if they all die does the game restart?

No, it doesn’t restart your game, you add new sims to the town

it price depends on how many workplaces you have already built
Oh so if you have built a lot of work places does the price go down or up?
the price goes up each time you build a new workplace, the same thing happens for other businesses and houses

You need to complete the teenager quest then using a birthday cake age your preteen to a teen

I am in this quest and i just start it, put in the preeten tab there is no such thing as beds,trampoline,or other things. Do you can tell me whats going on ?
Are you on the goal to buy these items yet? It might be you have to wait until you get the goal before they are visable now.
i am on the part of this quest where you need to purchase a trampoline, but there isnt an option for that in my preteen section of the store, not even one i havent unlocked yet, is anyone else having this problem or have a solution for me?
are you sure it isn’t towards the end of the preteen section? if its definitely not there you may have to contact EA to see if they can fix this issue for you

Sorry but I cannot help with technical issues, only EA will be able to fix this problem for you, try contacting them again.
I had to go to the actual children’s store, under preteen, to get the trampoline. It wasn’t under my furniture tab.
Also does it matter that I’m on the preparing for preteens quest and I’m on level 23

Do preteens do what the adults do? Like for example, adults use the coffee machine instead of sleeping, but do preteens do that also or not? Please reply back! I really need to know, because I’m nearly finishing this quest!
Preteens can also using the coffee machine but they only have one option which is triple fudge hot chocolate
