I have missed this quest! Why can’t I start it yet?
You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 18 before you can start this quest
Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 18?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work
Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it
I don’t like this quest! Can I just skip it?
No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one
Some times are slightly different on my game, why is this?

you can’t do talking to a tree early no, so yes you can finish it quite quickly but there is no need to rush on this one as there is no prize or time limit

Are you on level 19 yet? If not then you haven’t got the quest yet because it unlocks when you reach level 19

How do you begin the teenager quest? When click have birthday I get the message saying that the quest must be completed and I do see the quest on the lists ok quests. I click ok and nothing…

they probably can read the big book of stuff but I would probably use an adult unless it says otherwise

Hi, I see here one of the tasks is to talk to a tree, and I’ve also noticed when I’m buying stuff for my houses all the trees have a speech bubble , but my sims can’t interact with them. In “Da clubhouse” quest a toddler had to talk to the palm trees at the swim centre, so is that option only for toddlers?
no adults have to do the task in this quest
Talking to a tree only takes 5 hours and 30 minutes now 🙂

I just wanted to give you a heads up that the time for “talk to tree” has changed from 12 hours to 5 hours and 30 minutes for a 1 star tree on a lot (not sure if there are different star ratings for trees). I took a picture and sent it to you in case you wanted a new picture for the time change.

That’s weird because I have completed all those previous quests. I know it popped up at one point, and I think I didn’t want to do it yet so I didn’t click okay. Is it gone forever?

Try baking a birthday cake to age a preteen, if it lets you age the preteen with the cake then you have complete the teenagers quest already.

I love your website. It really helps. Anyway, I have a few questions. Can teens get married to teens? Can teens get married to adults? If they can, can they have children? Another random question, can preteens have crushes on other preteens? Do makeup artists have to have another sim to do their hobby? Is there any way I can have more than 2 pets in one house? Which pets don’t count as one of the 2 pets in my sims house? Can you only fish at the park? Do you think that the EA will make more than four personalities like fashionista? I have many more questions, but I think that is a fair amount of questions for now.

No teens cannot get married to any sim, regardless of their age and they cannot have children.
Preteens can’t be romantic with other preteens.
Yes the makeup artist hobby requires two sims.
No, sorry you can only have 2 pets per house, the pets that don’t count are the ones you buy from the pet section of buy mode, the ones from the pet store count.
You can fish at the park, the campgrounds (once you complete the vacationers guide quest) and the beach (once you complete the life dreams and legacies quest and build it)

So my daughter was playing Sims Freeplay and in the middle of playing the game stopped…started up again and asked her to start a new game or download save from cloud. There are NO saves on teh cloud…all her achivements are still on Google play but her save data is lost. Any way to reload it or get it back? She was really far. Thnak you so much.
I recommend that you contact EA about this issue, they may be able to help you as there isn’t really anything I can do unfortunately

Some quests have two versions, as when the makers have updated the times for quests they haven’t updated them on all devices so some players still get the old times

A friend of mine can’t start the Teenagers quest. She has done all the quests before it and she is level 30. A window comes up telling her about the Teenagers quest, she clicks the green OK button at the bottom and it goes to her neighborhood screen. There is no “Tap To Continue” at the bottom of the message. Is there a trick for her to get this specific quest started on her Amazon Kindle?

Reading the big book of stuff now takes 1 day.
Only on a 1 star bookcase, if you use a 2 or 3 star the time is shorter that is why it says on the post ‘times may vary depending on the star rating the item has’
After I grow the onions I’m not able to move on to the next task I tried growing them 2 times and still on the same task

You have to bake your own, quest tasks have to be completed in your town.

You’re welcome! Unfortunately he will be around until this quest is over, you could always complete this quest and then stay on the next quest which is higher education as that one also doesn’t have a time limit but you won’t have Osiris on your simtracker.
Can I buy the birthday cake at the supermarket for this quest instead of baking it?
You still have to bake the cake, you just buy the recipe from the supermarket. The supermarket is where you buy the recipes for cheaper than if you just buy them straight from the oven, so you save a bit of money but there is no need to buy the birthday cake from the supermarket as it will still cost you 5LPs.

You’re welcome! You will only need a teenager when you reach the pirate and his goddess quest to be able to complete that one, that quest is after the higher education one so bake a birthday before then for each life stage (you need a birthday cake to get a toddler to a preteen and then another birthday cake to get the preteen to a teenager)
