1. Please Any other tips how to get the elves away (they are still standing in front of the fireplace) I tried almost everything 😦 thank you

   • There is nothing else I can suggest if it isn’t working, sorry but I don’t work for EA.

2. Thanks for all the suggestions but It only works if there is one elf blocking the way, not if there is two. None of the things suggested work in this case, any other ideas? Ive tried going home, Ive tried talking to both -i can only talk to one- using the chair,… nothing works, and after a day the elves still havent move, i dont undertstand why this bug hasnt been fix 😦 there isnt even a way to contact firemonkeys, they just send you straight to the forum and everyone is in the same situation

3. Hi!
   I’m having trouble having a sim host the meeting. The 3 sims have completed their 5min attending meeting but my 4th sim can’t seem to host. No one seems to be able to do it:-(

   • Stop all sims attending the meeting then try hosting it again

4. Hey so if I already have a blackboard, will it consider that, or will I have to buy a new one?

   • You get given one, find it in the the hobby inventory.

5. Hi on the Christmas quest I need to take a picture of the fire station, I’m doing it but then what? Do I have to share it on Facebook or something

   • No you don’t, Apparently taking the picture from different angles can fix this problem.

6. Can the quest be completed before the 12 days as I’ve only been doing it since 7 days after the update? Will I still be able to complete it 🙂 need that teddy 😉 Hopefuly I will and I love this site x

   • You need to complete the quest in the 12 day limit to get the bear

7. For day 7, my Sim cannot talk to the fireplace in Santa’s workshop. Does anyone know why?

   • There is probably an elf in the way

8. I have completed all previous xmas quests but today I must not have managed my time well because todays quest ends in 4 hours and I just started to host the meeting which takes 8 hours. I don’t have any more LPs to skip this task. If I don’t complete todays quest on time am I still able to get the teddy bear if I complete the rest of the xmas quests?

   • todays quests don’t end at the end of the day, you have as long as want to complete each day, you just have to complete all goals in the 12 day limit to get the bear.

9. Have you had the issue or know how to fix the issue of the 2 elves standing in front of the fireplace? I’ve tried everything and those darn things won’t move. I’m at a complete standstill on my quest

   • I will tell you what I have told everyone else who has asked me the same thing:
     Go back home and then return to the workshop, hopefully that will move the elf, or you can try pondering in the chair infront of the fireplace, if neither of these things work then there is nothing else I can suggest apart from waiting for the elf to move.

10. I would like to start with… I absolutely love your website whenever theres a new quest I always check this. And also could you tell me what the current day is because I got behind and am trying to catch up so what day would the 22nd be? I think its day 9 but im not sure.

11. Does anyone else find it at least a little creepy that Santa keeps hanging around town, showing up at all of the Sim houses even though the Christmas tasks for the day are completed?

12. Hi, I’m on day 8 and I’m right after the “place a blackboard in a house” and I already had 3 sims in that house which one was cooking a birthday cake because I have the quest for teens too. And when hey all tripped, he stopped cooking. ._. I’m mad, I just lost 5 LP. XD did that happen to anyone else or was that just my game?

    • That is very strange, I’ve not heard about this issue before!

    • Yes this happened to me too. I keep all my sims in the same house so I can have them doing tasks like planting and other things. All of my sims tripped and stopped what they were doing. I had like 5 sims planting and other sims were in the middle of doing long hobbies. It also messed up a separate quest is was doing. I had to start everything over! I wish I would have known about this beforehand!

13. None of my sims cant host the meeting… Any thoughts?

17. It’s kind of sad that I’m so far behind because I’m in school and don’t have time for the sims. But luckily we just began the break which gives me time to catch up! Thx for your very helpful page on this event!

18. Where can I find the antlers and the Santa hats for my pets?

    • They are in the pet salon, this can only be built once you have completed the life dreams and legacies quest

      • Darn it I’m not that far yet. This sucks I was so excited dressing up my pets! Anyways thanks for your posts and tips on LPs, they are really helpful. 😀

21. Something happened with my game. After my sim attended the meeting (in day 8), i cant host the meeting. The quest just stuck on “Have 3 sims attend the meeting”. I tried save the game to the cloud, install again and restore. It doesnt help.

    • Have you tried attending the meeting again?

22. If you haven’t built the fire station or completed the quest to do that how can you take a picture of the fire station?

    • Just take a picture of where it should be

23. what happens if you start when there’s 3 days until the quest time runs out? Is it worth it or a waste of time?

    • It is possible to get it done, you are just going to need to use lots of LPs

26. I didn’t have time to do the last goal for day 8, and in the morning, the day 9 quest started, and they skipped the last one, and started new ones, do I still get the teddy bear at the end? Will the percent thing still match to 100%?

    • Yes you should do, did you get the prize for completing day 8 though?

27. Did you want to know what we got in the b-day box because I got the beachside escape house. Well at least now it’s available I haven’t actually bought it.

28. For me, calling the secret contact took 9hrs 10mins or something. Ps. Not sure if it matters but I’m in the UK.

    • You are probably using a one star phone then, the times in this post are correct.

      • Oh right thanks, didn’t realise it would make a difference.

29. I had 2 elves blocking fireplace, tried all suggestions. I had sim admire the nutcracker next to it, and tapped the corner of fireplace closest to it. My sim was able to complete days 6 and 7 yesturday. I just finishing day 8. Hope this helps!

30. I was just finishing with discussing with Santa and then if said next goals in 23 hours and i didn’t give me my wallpaper😭

    • Strange, I dont know why it has done that, if you didn’t get the reward I think you should contact EA about this issue.

31. What is the sim tracker and where can I find it? For day 9

    • The simtracker is where you find all your sims, it shows what they are doing and you can bring them to the place you are or send them home.

33. Hi! I love your blog!! I check it everyday for this quest!! I would still be on day 1 if it wasn’t for you!!! So THANKYOU so much!!! I have one question though!! On the quest in the task thingy it says ‘save christmas within the time limit to get this living bear’ and so on I was just wondering if you new weather that means they give you 12 days and a set of goals each day OR if it ment there is 10 days you got to complete but you have 12 days to finish it? So I guess what I’m asking is how many more days do I have to do these daily set of goals? Because I’m going away soon and I don’t think I’ll be able to finish it!! I’ve spent heaps of LP on this and I don’t want it to go to nothing coz I don’t get it done it time!!! Please help!!! Thanks!!!

    • It would have been nice if we had 10 days of goals and a few days to catch up! But we had quests on day 12 too which made it more difficult to complete in time.

34. Hi I am on day 7 because of school I have already caught
    0 up by a day since school ended but could I still catch up and win the giant teddy bear thanks

    • Yes you should be able to if you use some Lps

      The first one is free, it wanders around and your sims can interact with it

36. Why wont santa leave my house? I always send him back too the workshop but when i exit the game he keeps coming back

    • He will be wandering around until the quest is over

37. Do you know how to put antlers and Santa hats on the pets? A screen popped up earlier and said that antlers and Santa hats were now available for pets but I looked in the pets section and they’re not there. I checked the costume store and the beauty shop and even tried clicking on the pet to see if the option came up and it didn’t.

    • They are in the pet salon, you can only build this store once you have complete the life dreams and legacies quest.

38. I have my married couple talking and discuss tripping over with sim isn’t coming up?

    • Try with different sims, there must be two that have this option.

39. where can I find the messages boards? And how they know that I have searched them?

    • It says in the post, using a computer. Please read the post before asking a question.

42. On the left of the progress bar is a clock. The clock is decreasing as the days pass. My clock reads 3:18, is this 3 hours 18 minutes? I thought as long as I concluded each task per day I would get the bear. Am I out of time?

    • No that is 3 days 18 hours

    • You have to buy it

44. I slept very late just to get into calling secret contact task! But when i woke up the task was rewinded for searching leaderboards and then again call secret contact! Wheeew! What a waste! Grrr

45. Uhm, the information you put on your post was wrong, I mean just the part when it says 7 hours 30 minutes for the “call secret contact” but I have 9 hours 10 minutes on my device. I’m not a hater but Im just asking if this is a problem (having the 9 hrs thing) or what. Nonetheless, I love your blog here since it helped me soooo much 🙂 Please reply back…..

    • It is not wrong. You must be using a phone with a lower star rating as a 3 star rating phone is 7 hours 30 minutes, if you want it to be shorter buy a more expensive phone.

      • Oh, thank you very much, but I have a follow-up question. If you upgrade your other furniture, will it decrease the time spent for tasks than the regular 1-starred furniture? Sorry I’m a bit of a newbie here and still trying to get the hang of the game. Thanks for answering back though. 🙂

    • I had the same problem..until I upgraded my house phone. If you buy a new house phone the time you talk on the phone shortens. So what she put on her blog isnt wrong.

46. I wanna ask you about the weekly quest. What will happen if i didnt complete it with in the time limit? I just have 13more hours but the quest is “make sims work as a scientist” but i havent built it! Aaaaa do you have any idea? Will the quest changed? I dont want to waste my 5lps..

    • No the goal won’t change, but that goal will change when the game is next updated

47. I’m trying to complete the photo of the firehouse task. Everytime I zoom in and click the photo button nothing happens. Please help!!!

48. So is it like 12 days of Christmas madness? On the 12 day its gonna end? And so far I’m doing good! Got of track but it’s going ok. I’m still following all the days and I still have to wait for the next day which means I’m all caught up. So I can’t believe FOR ONCE I’m actuAlly completing a special goal on time! I don’t want to jinx it tho. Since if it is 12 days. Anything can still happen!

    • you have 12 days, then you can buy an extra day with Lps if you need to

49. I can not find santas workshop to go there and my Santa is not in my sim tracker anymore. I have look for a sleigh in outdoor decoratations and found a blow up onee that just turns on and off.

    • If you have already been to the workshop, the sleigh will be at the house you placed it at
