   • The reindeers should be tied up so I don’t know why you wouldn’t be able to get to the x

   • Is your sim busy? Make sure they aren’t doing anything and try again

   • I had the same problem. It might have been a glitch or something but i could not get my sim to search for clues after the reindeers task. I had to call in another sim and that worked so maybe you can try that 🙂

3. I’m just curious if Both reindeer need to be encouraged or if just one will complete the task?

4. I only have the inflatable sleigh. No other sleigh is there…suggestions??

5. Hey! I’ve just finished encouraging the reindeer to land, and I wanted to do the next task which is to search for clues. But apparently there’s a glitch. My Sim won’t move around the workshop anymore. I cannot seem to click on anything, I can’t even send him home. I can only invite him back home. So I tried that, and then I sent him to the workshop again, but I still can’t do absolutely anything. Please help! What should I do?

   • Don’t send him back, try with another sim

6. Didn’t think you’d be so on top of this – amazing you! Today’s tasks stack up to more than 7 hours which can be tough to fit in around work/school unless you have some LP to spend. In your experience is this typical? I have plenty of LP but my son is maybe going to run out because he blew most of his LP on the tree and decs! 😦

   Oh, and sorry you keep having to answer the same question – read the task properly folks! Merry Xmas x

     Yes some tasks will require Lps to get them done in the day but if you run out of time on day 1 you can still complete those tasks on day 2, all goals just need to be completed in the 12 day limit to get the prize

7. Before the second Search for Clues my Sim at Santa’s Workshop froze completely. Shutdown and restart did not help. I had to call him away, then go to Santa and call him back. OK now.

8. I cant click on the x to find clues because the rendeer is in the way. Anybody ideas?

   • Send that sim home and go back to the workshop, that might move the reindeer.

9. Please, help. There is no free sleigh in outdoor decoration section. What is the problem?

   • I don’t know what the problem is, there should be a free sleigh in the outdoor section of your inventory that is shown in the picture.

10. your picture shows the sled as free, mine shows that it cost 25 LP.

    • It was free for me, And it’s found in the inventory section under the outdoor decoration tab anyway so it would be free

11. I Placed the sleigh in the yard and nothing happened. It’s not the inflatable one its the real one. What do I do? It also wasn’t free but 25 lps

13. What will happen if you don’t complete the Day Two quests? Will they just end and you can start the Day Three quests? Will I still be able to get the living teddy bear? Please help!

    • You have to finish day 2 goals before you can start day 3 so you will be behind

14. I was in Santa’s worked shop talking to elf and stopped to answer phone and some lost the wok shop and can not find it. I brought Santa back to Sim Town and to the Sim house but Santa only wants a bro hug or be nice to him. How do I get back to Santa’s workshop? hELP!

16. My sim is currently stuck in Santa workshop. I’m trying to click on the X spot for clues again right after the landing reindeer task but this time around my Sim is stuck in the shop only thing able to do is leave and return to the shop via by calling it home but can’t move anywhere else. Is this a bug ? Anybody else having this issue?

    • Send that sim home and send another sim there and try again.

17. I need help… Ok I’m on day 2 of the Christmas quest & I just finish doing the “Encourage reindeer” goal… So when I try to go to the x to search clues my sim won’t move or go to the x… So do I try to get another sim to go there???

18. Hi! Can you help me, please. I can’t search for clue after I’ve done “encourage reindeer to land”. I have tried with 3 different sims and still can’t do it. There comes only two footprints and it wont let me do that 😦 It’s weird.

    • Is there something in the way of the cross?

19. I know this doesn’t have to do with the quest, but how did you get snow on the ground outside your houses?

    • Using the weather machine which you unlock once you complete the an alien concept: weather machine quest

      • What level do you unlock that quest on?

      • Level 16 but remember all previous quests need to be completed first.

20. Is there a known way to “unstick” sims who are stuck in Xmas-quests?

    After “encourage reindeer” the sim can’t move and the reindeer-animation is stuck, standing on the ground.

    If I remove the sim and visit the workshop again, the sim is still unable to move or activate him/her self.

    The quest finished normally it seemed and the “search for clue-X” is there for the next quest.

    • Send that sim home and send another sim there and try again.

21. There is reindeer flying in air beside the cross which points the clue…what can I do? ?

    • Go home and go back to the workshop and see if it has moved

22. I have had similar problems with the stuck sim after the ‘Encourage reindeer’ task. I managed to get the sim unstuck by sending him home, but when I got back to Santas workshop, the reindeer are now not either side of the door. Instead a galloping reindeer is now on top of the ‘Search for Clue’ X mark. When I click on ‘Search for Clue’ my sim crosses his arms, makes an ‘un-uh’ sound and the feet symbol appears above his head, meaning he cannot access the X mark. I am now stuck an go no further because of this glitch. I have rebooted device, and even cleared cached data. Any ideas?

    • Send your sim back home and back to the workshop again, that might move it

      • Nope. That makes no difference. I have tried different sims. This is a genuine glitch. The sim cannot continue looking for clues as the reindeer is in the way. It should be by the door with the other reindeer, not stood on the X next to the sleigh. Any more ideas.

      • I don’t understand why the reindeers are in the way, even now my reindeers are still tied up
        Sorry there are no other solutions I know to this problem other than leaving the workshop and returning with another sim, if that doesn’t work you may have to contact EA about the issue.

23. If I didn’t finish one of the quest today on time, and finish it tomorrow, will I still be able to do tomorrows plus get the teddy bear?

      • Just FYI, you can actually get the daily prizes even if you finish that day’s quests after the day is over. I was behind and caught up today and still got all of the daily ones.

    • You need to complete the weather machine quest to unlock the weather machine to make it snow.

26. I had two sims encourage the reindeer to land since I didn’t know if you had to do it to both. Now they are both frozen and I can’t get either sim to do anything. Is there a way to get help with a bug like this? I won’t be able to finish this quest now because of this.

    • Try to get another sim to the workshop and try with them
      You should be able to send the other sims home using the simtracker
      And only one reindeer needs encouraging

      • Thank you, I could not send the other sims home (or do anything with them) as they were just glitches and frozen. I had to wait for another sim to finish work, then I sent him to finish the task.

        I love what you do here, you are amazing!

27. I have waved down Santa’s sleigh but its not in my inventory???

28. I’ve tried going through your comments and I do see that people are having trouble with the sleigh thing. Me too. I placed the wrong inflatable sleigh (twice..once for free and then again for 15 lp’s because when I thought to try a different house, I put it into inventory and it is nowhere to be found. Had to buy another.)

    Then figured out it was a different sleigh, found the right one in inventory, placed it at the last house Santa was at, and nothing happened. I put it into inventory, went to a different house, tried to place it, but AGAIN, it was no where to be found. I bought another one, and once placed, nothing happened. Again.

    What am I missing?! (besides lp’s.)

    • I really don’t know why it isn’t completing the goal, it should. Have you tried closing the app, opening it again and trying to place it again?

30. I have an android platform phone and i completetd “Encourage reindeer to land- 5 hours 10 minutes” and when I returned to it, it froze. What should I do?

    • Send another sim there and try again, there isn’t much else I can suggest you do

31. I can’t click on the thinking man statue and I faced his position also and its still not working?

    • Is there a sim at the park?

32. So I got a gift at the front of my house, I opened it and it said I got a free house. From the Ocean View Estates quest. It said, since I hadn’t completed th quest in time they will give it to me now! But how do I get this free house? I click on the beach estates but all the houses cost!! Please Help!!!😁😁

    • You don’t get it free, it costs when you unlock it in the quest too.

33. So for some reason when I splashed my sims face with water it stopped giving me the rest of the quests I don’t know what happened 😩

    • Strange I don’t know what the problem is, you may want to contact EA to see if they can fix the issue

34. Is there a time frame for the daily quests? They start at 9am but I can’t start until I get off work. Which means I won’t be able to finish todays quest until after 12am the next day. Is it okay as long as I get all of them done by 9am when day 3 starts? Just wondering what time day 2 will end.

    • No, it will just continue the next day, the only time limit is the 12 days to get all the goals done by

35. I’m not loving this update so far – the “rewards are things I already earned last year!

36. I never had the task to examine the locomotive. It just said come back in x hours and x minutes. Is it just glitch? It is on day two.

37. It’s currently 10:35 and I’m on the last task of the day which will be completed in an hour and 26 minutes, so it’ll be a minute past midnight. Will I still at a reward for completing on time or no

    • Yes, the only time limit is the 12 days to complete all goals

38. do you keep the sled? as in: do you get to go to the workshop after the quest ends?

    • I think we keep it but you can’t go to the workshop once the quest is over

39. Thanks for all your help with this quest! The only part I had trouble on was “rest with the thinking man but your site explained it to me. I have a question and it has nothing to do with this quest but maybe you can help, I’ve been trying for days now and I can’t figure it out. Did you or anyone on here use an unlimited simoleons/lifestyle hack? I use Sims freeplay on Android and I have searched online and have tried various hacks for this for Android from various sites and it will not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated! -Thanks! 🙂

41. Guys like she said, send another sim.That s what I did. After my sim was stuck. I sent another one to search for clue. The other sim was still stuck so when i left the workshop I sent him to work and it did work. Good luck

    • Sorry I don’t know why you haven’t got the Christmas quest, there isnt much I can do really as this appears to be a technical issue, you might want to contact EA.

43. I’ve tried every sim I have, none of them will search for clues after encouraging reindeer. The sim can stand right next to the X. Nothing is blocking it, can’t progress

    • Sorry there are no other solutions I know to this problem other than leaving the workshop and returning with another sim, if that doesn’t work you may have to contact EA about the issue.

45. Hello this is the first year for me playing this game but I notice a few of my friends have reindeers for pets is it possible to get them now since it is Christmas time

    • They were the prize for completing last years quest so I don’t think they are avaliable to buy this year
