2. Select the store tab in the wardrobe:

3.Visit the costume and swim store or hair salon
It says NEW next to clothes you have recently unlocked in the store or brought in the wardrobe:

When you buy a new item it is then available in your wardrobe for as many sims as you want (who are of the same gender and life stage) to use at the same time, instead of having to buy the item for each sim like you previously had to.

I would like to clear Strut Avenue but it says that I have the clear the Back Lot. I can’t see what I have missed when I cleared the Back Lot. Do I have to open both shops since I only have one open. Have you got any advice on what I could have missed?
It shows in this post that area 4 is also at the front of the mall, please look before asking.
Thanks for your help. Your guides are so useful.
you’re welcome

This helped me alot!! Thankyou so much thats exactly what i have been looking for!! And i just love your blog 🙂
You’re welcome! Thanks 🙂
Is there a time limit to complete the catwalk hobby? I know there is a limit for the bowling hobby to earn the juice bar, which is why I plan to wait a bit before starting it, but I wanted to make sure i don’t have to rush and potentially spend a ton of lps in order to complete the catwalk hobby by a certain time.
Thank you so much for all of your posts, you really are a life saver!
No there isn’t, and there isn’t a time limit for the bowling hobby either, you get the juice bar whenever you finish it 🙂
You’re welcome!
Enjoy your blog very much, My son and I always know where to go if we get stuck!
One issue that just came up for me though has my head scratching. I finally finished the bowling hobby (Finally!) and it gave me the opportunity to open the last shop (Classy Clothing). I went ahead and built that and went to build the juice bar, but there’s no juice bar option! There’s nothing available there at all to click or activate. Have you come across this. Any ideas?
you need to go up a floor (using the floor arrow button) to get the option to build the juice bar
I’m getting a message that says the tricks hobby gate is under construction , I have no ideal where this gate is I see nothing washing its under construction please help thank you

I clean up Area 4- Back Lot and it still won’t unlock the last part of the mall. I could really use some help please.
Like it shows you in the post area 4 is also on the front left of the mall
What about hair style/baber shop?. I want to have long hair, bcs I failed the quest, i didnt do it on time.
there are no hair shops in the mall, the salon in simtown is where you can buy hair
The only way to get long hair was by completing the quest unfortunately.
This has helped a lot! Thank u so much for your time on this.
you’re welcome!
Helpful guide! Although I think it’s so annoying they have the sims at the juice bar drink out of coffee cups, and only teens can sit at the stools in the front. It was kind of a waste of money- the only good thing about it is that now both of my escalators work so it looks normal.
Store 2 is named Plumb B’s.

How to perform a modelling pose? Plz help me!
Do the catwalk model hobby
I have finished the catwalk hobby, but my bowling alley won’t open.. It should be open, because i already build it. Please help..
I think the problem is because the latest quest required the catwalk hobby it didn’t recognise it as completing to unlock the bowling alley if that makes sense, this issue will probably be fixed in the next update.
I Completed the bowling hobby and the juice bar is still not available to build, and my escalator is blocked. Is there a certain amount of stores that need to be built to get the juice bar?
No you don’t have to build a certain amount of stores, you need to go up a floor (using the floor arrow button) to get the option to build the juice bar
Hi I finished the bowling hobby but I can’t buy the juice bar because it doesn’t show to buy. What can I do? Please help
you need to go up a floor (using the floor arrow button) to get the option to build the juice bar
Finally finished the bowling hobby and the juice bar isn’t available yet. I think they may have changed it to where you have to buy all the stores too. Not sure. I still have one more store to buy
No you don’t have to, you need to go up a floor (using the floor arrow button) to get the option to build the juice bar

Just thought I’d add- they don’t let toddlers eat at Pickle Sauce or the juice bar, but they let them eat at the Candlelit Fork. hmmm…
I was going to have grandma take the grandkids out for lunch to the burger bar, but now I can’t! Lol. The weird thing is they ended up getting roast beef and spicy tuna rolls at the Candlelit Fork… Haha
Great site, it’s so helpful! Oh and the comments aren’t working on the DIY home update post (unless you did that on purpose). I was going to add another change I spotted.
Thanks for working so hard on this really cool website!!!
I have added that to the post!
I will turn it back on when I have got through the mass of comments
Yeah I did that on purpose because I had over 200 comments on that one post
You’re welcome
Do i have to ooen the malls below where the burger bar should be? Cuz i just finished the quest but i cant see the burger bar icon to be built 😦

I have completed the bowling hobby the first time and it said that I have unlocked the juice bar, but were the juice bar should be there isn’t any tab to click on to build it and im on the third time round of completingnthe bowling hobby for life style point. Please can u help?
you need to go up a floor (using the floor arrow button) to get the option to build the juice bar
I have completed the bowling hobby, but the availability for the juice bar has disappeared. There is nothing to click on the right hand side of the upper mall. It was there before I completed the hobby and now it is gone. I wonder if anyone else has had this issue.
you need to go up a floor (using the floor arrow button) to get the option to build the juice bar
Thanks for your guide!
I’ve completed the bowling hobby, but now my juice bar has been “constructing” for 3+ days. I can’t move on to constructing anything else because it says my juice bar is still under construction. Anyone else having this problem?
you’re welcome!
You will have to contact EA about this issue as I cannot fix technical issues sorry!
I completed the bowling hobby and it said my juice bar is unlocked but there is no unlock icon on the other side to click on to build it. Is there something that needs to be fixed/cleaned first? Do all the stores need to be built first?
you need to go up a floor (using the floor arrow button) to get the option to build the juice bar
I had 2 stores unbuilt when I started building my juice bar. Then, after the latest update, my juice bar would not stop constructing. If I tried to build a new store or a different part of the town, it said my juice bar was still constructing even though it should have finished. However, as soon as I built a new Sim HOUSE, the juice bar magically appeared. I think this is a glitch with the latest update. Maybe my “fix” will help you! 🙂
thanks for the information!
Hello! First of all thank you for this blog! I just finished the bowling hobby so the Juice bar was supposed to get unlocked, but it hasn’t appeared on the 1st floor where it should have been. I haven’t “opened” all the shops yet and I am wondering if it is because of that or it is a bug. What do you think? Thanks!!
have you used the floor arrow button to go up to the top floor to get the option to build it?
It worked! Thank you!!
This is amazing! Thanks for all the help. One question, if you town value is higher does the price of individual stores go up?
You’re welcome! They shouldn’t, I think they are the same for everyone regardless of your town value
I just completed the bowling hobby but I don’t see the option to build the juice bar, am I missing something? I am currently building the last store, does that have to finish first? Thanks
you need to go up a floor (using the floor arrow button) to get the option to build the juice bar
I finished the quest on time, and can’t build the pickle bar :((
you need to go up a floor (using the floor arrow button) to get the option to build the pickle bar
I did not even think of that! Thank you, you are the best! 🙂
you’re welcome! 🙂
I completed the bowling hobby, but I never saw an icon to open the juice bar and on the escalator it’s closed off. Was there a time limit on it? I hate this awkward empty space on half of the mall.
you need to go up a floor (using the upstairs arrow button) to get the option to build the juice bar
Will the clothes permanently be in your wardrobe or do you have to buy it again if you decide to change into a new outfit just like the hair how it asks” Are you sure you want to change hairs even though you paid for it already”?
it will permanently be in your wardrobe for all sims of that gender and age to wear, like hair is now.
I want to open store 15 and 16. But it says “4th line of bowling” is needed. What’s that?
you need to complete the 4th line of the bowling hobby.
Hi GirlWhoGames, I’m having the hardest time unlocking the Classy Clothing store. I have my Sims constantly bowling and I’m stuck on 9 out of 12 for the hobby. Any tips?
there aren’t really any tips for completing it quicker, all you can really do is just keep going or use LPs to do a lucky spin to try and find some of the ones you need
Hi! I finished the sunset mall quest and got the burger bar, as soon as I built it the sunset mall quest started over from the beginning and now I can’t do anything else with the mall, any ideas? Thank you for your help!
you will need to contact Ea to see if they can fix this issue for you as I can’t fix technical issues, sorry!
I completed the bowling hobby, but the option to build the juice bar is not yet available. I keep tapping all over the escalators but nothing happens, they are still blocked.
You need to press the upstairs button to see the icon to build the juice bar.
I don’t seem to have the ‘floor up’ arrow at the mall…the lock to build the burger bar appeared briefly once but it has gone now and I can’t get it back! Any ideas?
If you can’t see the button you need to have a sim go to the mall. Click on a bench on the left side upstairs as if you want that sim to “rest from shopping.” The button should appear now.
I got everything in the mall done but i was building the juice bar well, i cant click on it to finish it because for some reason the arrow thing to go up a story isnt there. How do i fix this?
If you can’t see the button you need to have a sim go to the mall. Click on a bench on the left side upstairs as if you want that sim to “rest from shopping.” The button should appear now.
Hi! You said to press the upstairs button to be able to see the icons to build the things but I don’t see it. I know what it looks like because I’ve seen and used it in houses/other buildings so I’m not sure why I don’t see it here
If you can’t see the button you need to have a sim go to the mall. Click on a bench on the left side upstairs as if you want that sim to “rest from shopping.” The button should appear now.
Hi, I try to build area 3, but it said that I need to clear area 2. But my area 2 is all clear, only 2 stores I didn’t open, the toddler and pre-teen clothing. Is there requirement to open area 3 – like I have to complete catwalk hobby or open all stores? TIA
requirements for area 3 are clean area 2 and build 5 stores, if you click on the lock symbol it will show you what requirements you haven’t met yet
I don’t have an upstairs button to build the juice bar. I completed the hobby months ago and it’s annoying me having that giant empty spot
If you can’t see the button you need to have a sim go to the mall. Click on a bench on the left side upstairs as if you want that sim to “rest from shopping.” The button should appear now.
I’m having the same issue, but the upstairs icon hasn’t appeared.
If you can’t see the button you need to have a sim go to the mall. Click on a bench on the left side upstairs as if you want that sim to “rest from shopping.” The button should appear now.
Anyone else having trouble with the juice bar since the update? The button to switch between floors is missing. I can move between floors at all the houses etc but not the mall. Very annoying as I can’t build anything else update until juice bar has been completed!
If you can’t see the button you need to have a sim go to the mall. Click on a bench on the left side upstairs as if you want that sim to “rest from shopping.” The button should appear now.
i don’t have upstairs floor arrow to build my pickle bar grr help xI
If you can’t see the button you need to have a sim go to the mall. Click on a bench on the left side upstairs as if you want that sim to “rest from shopping.” The button should appear now.

Hi there. I want to ask how much did the mall cost to you? I haven’t built it yet but i remember it was 500,000. After the baby update the mall it now costs 900,000 to me. Don’t know it is because the baby update or because i built one more house? The price 900,000 is too expensive arggg. Any advice pls? 🙂
Sorry I can’t remember how much it cost me! But the price of buildings increases everytime you build a new one
