THIS EVENT IS OVER
Celebrate the one year anniversary of The Sims Mobile with this time limited event that starts at 10am PST on Thursday 7th March. The aim of this event is to earn enough balloons to buy the anniversary boxes to unlock all the best items of the last year in the 7 day time limit. There is also a quest to complete that unlocks a karaoke machine!
How do you earn balloons?
- You can earn them randomly by completing any event
- Each time you complete all the LlamaZoom tasks you get 250 Balloons
- Collect them from your Anniversary Decoration once unlocked and placed in your sims house:
- Complete the Homebase Bash Event
- Complete the Hit the Club Event
- Complete the Treat Yourself Event
- Complete the Anniversary Party Quest, there are 27 parts:
NOTE: if you don’t have the option to reflect using a mirror for part 2 restart your device and try again
If you are stuck on any of the tasks let me know and I will add more information on how to complete them
Once you complete the quest you will find the Karaoke machine in the storage section, you can then choose from 3 different colours and then perform a duet with another sim. I really love the karaoke machine and I definitely recommend trying it with the sound on!

What are in the boxes?
The boxes all contain items from the previous year so some of them you will probably already have. There are 5 boxes with different items in each box, you will get an item at random each time you spend your balloons on a box:
- Wonderful Anniversary Box– costs 375 balloons each time
- Marvellous Anniversary Box– costs 375 balloons each time
- Fabulous Anniversary Box– costs 375 balloons each time
- Mega Anniversary Box– costs 250 balloons each time (this box contains all the items from all the other boxes- I’m not really sure why you wouldn’t just buy this box each time seeing as it is cheaper than the rest and contains all the same items, this may become obvious when the event begins)
- Deluxe Mega Anniversary Box– costs 75 simcash (this box also contains all the items but you have a better chance of getting rarer items with this box)

Is there something to place out to earn free balloons? Like the vase/urn and the towels for previous events.
Yes the Anniversary Decoration you unlock once you have collected 125 balloons
Why isnt reflecting on past year working for me? Im clicking on bathroom vanity bedroom mirror and even tried buying and trying the childs room mirror
Try restarting your device, that should hopefully fix this
Hey! I am just curious to know as to why haven’t i got any rare items till now even after spending 10000 balloons in the latest Anniversary Party quest! Its really disappointing to find. Is there any trick to get rare items.
There is no trick unfortunately, the game is against you because they make rare items harder to earn, the only way would be to use simcash but even then you still aren’t guaranteed a rare item.
I don’t get the option to Reflect when I click on a mirror at home. Is there something else I need to do?
Try restarting your device, that should hopefully fix this

Im trying to find the sale they normally do when they do these special timed events, but theyve swtiched around where they place the sale items. Do you know where i can find this sale?
(It includes an object to provide additional balloons)

I can still see it in the same place as before (either in the gift box in the corner or the featured section of the shopping tab) it may be that for some reason it isn’t showing in your game, usually if you go to another place such as parkside or market square these sometimes will pop up or maybe try force closing your game

So am I the only idiot that didn’t look carefully and assumed that the Delixe Mega box was 75 balloons, NOT 75 cash? I realized it as soon as I pressed the button. Stupid mistake.

I’m sad I was looking forward to this event, and I never received it??? I even tried updating my game and the anniversary was never an option???? Please help!
Have you tried going to a different place in the game such as parkside or market square sometimes this can make these events appear.

I just finished the anniversary event and went to place the basketball court, but it appears that I’m missing the large gray portion of the basketball court floor. When I finished the quest it showed me all three being put into my inventory. However, when I went to place them…. only the hoop and the small floor section are in the inventory. I’ve gone through my inventory 4 times and just don’t see it. Is it a glitch or is it someplace else and I’m just missing it? Is anyone else having this problem?
It is quite confusing but there are only two parts to this, the hoop and the floor section, the first picture is just showing you how it looks together.
Is there a way to complete these quests without playing 24/7? Some of us like to sleep…
I don’t think sleep is allowed when playing these games! They definitely don’t like to make them easy. I managed to get through it by starting some tasks early so I had a long event being completed before I got the goal so once the goal appeared I could complete it straight away.
