The Charming Barber Hair Event to unlock male hairstyles for your adult sims is back from the 12th March! You have 7 days to complete the fashion designer hobby 8 times to unlock all the male hairstyles. You get a new hairstyle each time you complete the collection (find all 12 fashion items) once you unlock a hairstyle you get to keep it even if you don’t find them all.

If you completed this event last time you will not get it again, if you unlocked some of the hairstyles last time you will only have to find the ones you have left, for example, if you unlocked 7 hairstyles you will only have to complete the hobby one more time to get the last hairstyle.

You need to buy a fashion studio from the promotions r us store to complete this hobby

If you haven’t started the fashion designer hobby yet click here for details on how to complete the hobby

You need to firstly accept this quest, it will remove the fashion designs you have already created from the collection so you don’t get a head start.

If you say no you can start it from the active tasks tab, you will not get any extra time if you start this late.

YOU NEED TO COMPLETE ALL FOUR ROWS TO GET ONE HAIRSTYLE!!

TIPS FOR FINDING THEM ALL IN THE TIME LIMIT:

-have more than one sim working on it, you can have as many sims as you want completing this hobby at once but you will need a fashion studio for each of them
-it is easier if you have all the sims in one house, maybe build a room for them so they are all together but you don’t have to!
-if you can, do the 10 minute option over and over, you will find the most designs this way (once you have a sim at level 6)
-have at least one sim at level 6 or working on getting to level 6 (maybe do the 12 hour option) so all designs are unlocked (don’t know if you already got a sim to level 6? If you have previously completed the collection you reached level 6 or you can see when you look at the hobby collection, if boxes are greyed out you haven’t completed it yet)
-remember to click start new collection on the fashion hobby collection once you have got all the pieces
-most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly (those heels are a nightmare!) but you will eventually get the ones you need.

ICE PEDESTAL – ADULT SIMS ONLY – PRIZE: 2LP

NOTE: if you haven’t completed the ice sculpture hobby before you will only be able to buy the ice pedestal when an ice sculpture time limited hobby event becomes available

Only Adults can complete the ice sculpture hobby, to begin this hobby you need to buy the ice pedestal from the promotions r us store and place it in one of your sims houses, you can buy 15, the price increases each time you buy one:

I cannot find it in my home store to place it? You need to look in your inventory under the hobby and career items section

I cannot place the pedestal, it says its locked/ limited item, what do I do? You will have this problem if you try and place it from the new items tab, look in your inventory instead to be able to place the ice pedestal in one of your sims houses.

WHY ISN’T THE ICE PEDESTAL IN MY STORE? You will need to wait for the Ice Sculpture Time Limited Event to reappear on the game, then you will be able to buy a pedestal

You can buy 15, so 15 adults sims can complete this hobby at one time.

Once placed tap on it and select one of the options:

Practice Sculpting- 5 hours 45 minutes
Conjure Masterpiece- 8 hours

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head to find one of the ice sculpture collectibles. Every time your sims complete one of the options above their ice sculpture hobby skill level up percentage will increase, once they reach 100% they will level up, there are 6 levels. You need to reach level 6 to be able to unlock all of the ice sculpture collectibles, once unlocked you will be able to find them.

The table below shows the level up percentage for each option:

NOTE: only the first sim completing this hobby needs to get to level 6 to unlock all the collectibles, future sims will be able to find any collectible even if they are only on level 1 in this hobby (and they can do the shortest option to try and find the collectibles quicker!)

You won’t find a new collectible each time, you will get repeats, if this happens just keep going, you will find them eventually! If it is still taking too long you can use the lucky spin on the row where you cannot find the item, this will cost LPs, when you click on the LP button it will clear the row and give you a random collectible on that row so you aren’t guaranteed a new item (you will get back any other collectibles you already had in that row) Need to earn some LPs to use the lucky spin?

The completed ice sculpture collection is shown below, once you complete the collection you need to click ‘start a new collection’ at the top of the hobby collection screen, this clears the board so you can complete the collection again to earn more rewards (you will only get the option to restart the hobby collection when you have completed the collection):

You will earn XPs when you complete a row in the hobby but to complete the collection you need to find all 12 of the collectibles

The rewards for completing this collection is 2LP:

You will earn 2LP each time you complete this collection, unless you are completing this collection during a time limited hobby event then other prizes will be available (you can find a list of time limited hobby events here)

TEACHERS PET QUEST – CLASSROOM CLOCK – TEEN AND ADULT SIMS – PRIZES: SECOND FLOOR OF DOWNTOWN HIGH AND 2LP

TIME LIMITED HOBBY – TIME: 7 DAYS – TIME LIMITED PRIZE: CHEERLEADER OUTFITS

Once you complete the Teacher’s Pet Quest the time limit for this hobby will begin, if your adult or teenage sim completes this hobby in 7 days you will unlock the cheerleader outfits:

When you begin this hobby for the first time you only get one option on the clock as you have only unlocked one room so far:

English Clown- 3 hours 30 minutes

You will need to find all 3 different class clown actions in the English room to unlock the Home Economics room once unlocked you need to find the 3 class clown actions in that room to unlock the Computer Lab and find the 3 actions in that room to unlock the final room which is the science lab, once you have found all 3 of those class clown actions in the final room you will have completed the hobby.

English Clown- 3 hours 30 minutes
Home Ec Clown- 3 hours 30 minutes
Computer Lab Clown- 3 hours 30 minutes
Science Lab Clown- 3 hours 30 minutes

NOTE: once you complete the collection for the first time you can find the class clown actions in any order but you will still need to do each option to find the different actions to complete each row

TIP: you can only have one sim in each room so when you first complete this hobby you can only really use one sim, once you have unlocked all the rooms you can have up to 4 sims completing this hobby.

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head to find one of the class clown collectibles in that row. You still level up in this hobby but the hobby level up percentage isn’t important as the class clown collectibles don’t unlock depending on your level, when you finish a row of class clown collectibles you will unlock the ability to find the clown actions in the next row.

The table below shows you the level up reward that your sims will receive when they level up in this hobby:

The first time you complete a row you will unlock a new classroom to find the new class clown actions, further times you will earn XPs when you complete a row in the hobby but to complete the collection you need to find all 12 of the collectibles

If you complete this hobby in the time limit you will unlock the cheerleader outfits which can be found in the wardrobe for adult and teen sims, you can also find the pom poms on the sports field:

The rewards for completing this collection are the second floor of downtown high and 2LP:

The first time you complete this collection you unlock the second floor of downtown high (even if you don’t manage to complete in the time limit) There are 3 rooms to build upstairs:

Principal’s Office and Staffroom- takes 5 hours and costs S25,000
Math Classroom- takes 3 hours and costs S20,000
Social Science Classroom- takes 3 hours and costs S20,000

From the second time onwards each time you complete the collection you will earn 2LP

HEALTH HUB – AEROBIC STEPS – ADULT SIMS ONLY – PRIZE: 2LP

TIME LIMITED HOBBY EVENT – TIME: 7 DAYS – TIME LIMITED PRIZE: ACTIVEWEAR OUTFITS

Once you complete The Grooving Guru Quest this hobby and the time limited Aerobics Event starts straight away:

The Aerobics Event has a time limit of 7 days, you have to complete the aerobics hobby collection 7 times in 7 days to unlock all the new activewear outfits (a collection means finding all 12 items in the hobby grid, not just one row!)
You can have one sim completing this hobby using the steps at the Health Hub and you can also buy more aerobic steps from the promotions r us store and place it in one of your sims houses. You can buy 14 steps from the promotions r us store, the price increases with each one you buy:

Why can you only use one of the steps at the Health Hub? The other 4 can be used but only for 10 minutes, its like the main sim is taking a class but those sims aren’t doing the hobby

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head to find one of the aerobic collectibles. Every time your sims complete one of the options above their aerobic hobby skill level up percentage will increase, once they reach 100% they will level up, there are 6 levels. You need to reach level 6 to be able to unlock all of the aerobic collectibles, once unlocked you will be able to find them (then you can complete the collection to unlock one of the activewear outfits!

If you complete this hobby 7 times in the time limit you will unlock the 7 sets of activewear, so each time you complete the collection you will get one female adult and one male adult activewear outfit:

Tips for completing in the time limit

They have made this event a lot easier, it is still difficult but when I first tried to complete this I only just managed to reach level 6 by the end of the week so I got one outfit, they have changed this so you level up a lot quicker this time

I would recommend having one sim doing the 4 hour 30 minutes option 3 times and then the 6 hour 30 minutes option twice, that should get that sim to level 6 so you can complete the collection!
While that sim is levelling up have all your other sims doing the 4 hour 30 minute option (only until you get all the items that are unlocked until that first sim reaches level 6, then all your sims can just do the shortest option)
Have as many sims as possible completing this hobby event- I had 9, 8 at home and 1 at the health hub:

Remember to click start new collection at the top of the aerobics collection list once you have got all of the collectibles, as shown in this post
Once you have completed the collection for the first time you can have all sims on the shortest option, as once you reach level 6 all the items will be unlocked so the shortest option will help you earn more collectibles in the time limit!
You can always use the lucky spin on a row if you are really struggling, this video shows you how the lucky spin works

NOTE: I don’t know whether they will bring this back as a time limited hobby event one day but I really hope they do as I didn’t manage to complete it!

LIFE DREAMS AND LEGACIES QUEST – PET PARK: CATSHOW AREA – TEEN, ADULT AND SENIOR SIMS – PRIZES: CAT RUN AND 3LP

Once you complete the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest you will be able to use orbs to build the Pet Park, once the pet park is built you will also need to use orbs to build the Cat Show Area (for more information please click here) Once the cat show area is built a teen, adult or senior can complete this hobby along with a cat

NOTE: before you can complete this hobby you need a cat in your town (not a kitten) and they need to be wearing a collar that you can buy from the pet salon. Once they are wearing a collar when you click on them you will get the option to send to pet park:

Once one of your sims and the cat are at the pet park you can click on the cat show catwalk and select:

Enter Cat Show- 4 hours

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head to find one of the cat show rosette collectibles. Every time your sims enters the cat show their cat show hobby level up percentage will increase, once you reach 100% you will level up, there are 6 levels. You need to reach level 6 to be able to unlock all of the cat show rosette collectibles, once unlocked you will be able to find them.

NOTE: click on the cat at the pet park to get the option to send them home once you complete the hobby

The first time you complete this hobby collection you unlock the cat run, you can find it in the pet section of buy mode for S80,000 (expensive considering all my cat does is sleep in it!)
