LIFE DREAMS AND LEGACIES QUEST – CARNIVAL: HIGH STRIKER – ADULT SIMS ONLY – PRIZES: PLUSH CARNIVAL TOYS AND 3LP

Once you complete the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest you will be able to use orbs to build the Carnival, once the Carnival is built you will also need to use orbs to build the High Striker (for more information please click here)

Once the high striker is built and you have an adult sim at the carnival, click on the high striker and select one of the options:

  • Quick Smack- 30 minutes
  • Decent Hit- 1 hour
  • Slam Session- 2 hours
  • Bell Top Beatdown- 4 hours

NOTE: only one adult sim can complete this hobby at a time

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head to find one of the carnival toy collectibles. Every time your sims complete one of the options above their high striker hobby skill level up percentage will increase, once they reach 100% they will level up, there are 6 levels. You need to reach level 6 to be able to unlock all of the high striker collectibles, once unlocked you will be able to find them.

The table below shows the level up percentage for each option:

The next table shows you for each level what carnival toy collectibles you unlock (so you can then find those ones too) and also the level up reward that a second and future sims will receive when they level up in this hobby:

6 Heavy Hitter Edgar Snoutenhoof and Admiral Proudflanks are now unlocked in the hobby collection.

You can now complete the collection!

NOTE: only the first sim completing this hobby needs to get to level 6 to unlock all the collectibles, future sims will be able to find any collectible even if they are only on level 1 in this hobby (and they can do the shortest option to try and find the collectibles quicker!)

You won’t find a new collectible each time, you will get repeats, if this happens just keep going, you will find them eventually! If it is still taking too long you can use the lucky spin on the row where you cannot find the item, this will cost LPs, when you click on the LP button it will clear the row and give you a random collectible on that row so you aren’t guaranteed a new item (you will get back any other collectibles you already had in that row) Need to earn some LPs to use the lucky spin?

 

The completed high striker collection is shown below, once you complete the collection you need to click ‘start a new collection’ at the top of the hobby collection screen, this clears the board so you can complete the collection again to earn more rewards (you will only get the option to restart the hobby collection when you have completed the collection):

You will earn XPs when you complete a row in the hobby but to complete the collection you need to find all 12 of the collectibles

The rewards for completing this collection are plush carnival toys and 3LP:

  • The first time you complete the collection you unlock plush carnival toys which can be found in the toddler section, Flaming Monkey costs S28,000, Sentimental Ben costs 20SP and Felicity Manglehorn costs 10LP:

  • From the second time onwards each time you complete the collection you will earn 3LP

The Sims Freeplay- Hobbies: Finger Painting

SUPER TODDLER SECRET MISSION – FINGER PAINTING EASEL – TODDLER SIMS ONLY – PRIZES: COOKING PLAYSET, OUTFITS AND 3LP

TIME LIMITED HOBBY – TIME: 7 DAYS – TIME LIMITED PRIZE: POP UP BOOK

Once you complete the Super Toddler Secret Mission Quest the time limit for this hobby will start straight away, to begin this hobby you need to buy the finger painting easel from the promotions r us store for S4,000 and place it in one of your sims houses:

I cannot place the easel, it says its locked/ limited item, what do I do? You will have this problem if you try and place it from the new items tab, look in your inventory instead to be able to place the finger painting easel in one of your sims houses.

If you complete this hobby in the 7 day time limit you will unlock the pop up book:

Once placed in one of your houses a toddler sim can click on it and select the option:

  • Create Finger Painting- 3 hours 30 minutes

NOTE: only one toddler can use an easel at one time and you can only buy one to complete this hobby the first time, after that you can buy 3 and have 3 toddlers completing this hobby at once

Every time your sims completes a painting their finger painting hobby skill level up percentage will increase, once they reach 100% they will level up, there are 6 levels. Storing Paintings- There is an added extra on this hobby where you can store and place paintings a toddler has created around your house, which is really cute! To do this an adult sim needs to click on the easel after a painting has been created and select the option to store painting in inventory. The painting can then be found in the decorations section of your inventory to place on a wall.

If you complete this hobby in the time limit you will unlock the pop up bookshelf, which costs S9500 and can be found in the toddler section:

The rewards for completing this collection are the cooking playset, outfits and 3LP:

The first time you complete this collection you will unlock the cooking playset (even if you don’t complete in the time limit) which costs S5000 and can be found in the toddler section. It is really cute!

  • The second to the seventh time each time you complete this collection you unlock a new outfit for your female and male toddlers:

  • From the eighth time onwards each time you complete the collection you earn 3LP

NANNY KNOWS BEST QUEST – XYLOPHONE – BABY SIMS ONLY – PRIZES: PLAYMAT, OUTFITS AND 3LP

TIME LIMITED HOBBY – TIME: 7 DAYS – TIME LIMITED PRIZE: INFANT BOUNCER

Once you complete the Nanny Knows Best Quest the time limit for this hobby will start straight away, to begin this hobby you need to buy a xylophone from the promotions r us store for S2,000 and place it in one of your sims houses:

I cannot place the xylophone, it says its locked/ limited item, what do I do? You will have this problem if you try and place it from the new items tab, look in your inventory instead to be able to place the xylophone in one of your sims houses.

If you complete this hobby in the time limit you will unlock the infant bouncer:

Once placed in your house your baby sim needs to click on it and select the option:

  • Play Xylophone- 3 hours 10 minutes

NOTE: the first time you complete this hobby you can only buy one xylophone so only one baby can complete this hobby, after that you can buy 3 xylophones so 3 babies can complete this hobby at one time

Every time your sim finishes playing the xylophone their musical expression hobby skill level up percentage will increase, once they reach 100% they will level up, there are 6 levels. You need to reach level 6 to be able to unlock all of the musical expression collectibles, once unlocked you will be able to find them.

The table below shows the level up percentage:

If you complete this hobby in the time limit you will unlock the Infant Bouncer, which can be found in the infant section and costs S4000. An adult has to put a baby in it then they can bounce for 1 minute or 15 minutes:

The rewards for completing this collection are the play mat, outfits and 3LP:

  • The first time you complete this collection you unlock the play mat (even if you don’t complete in the time limit) this costs S5500 and can be found in the infant section. The option is play with toys for 10 minutes and an adult can join in play session:

  • The second to the seventh time each time you complete this collection you unlock a new outfit for your female and male baby sims:

  • From the eighth time onwards each time you complete the collection you earn 3LP

Time Limited Hobby Events– the musical expression hobby appears in these events, to complete these you have to complete the musical expression hobby a certain amount of times during the time limit to unlock all of the prizes, you can find a list of time limited hobby events here. If you want to complete these time limited hobby events then have one sim get to level six in this hobby before the next event starts to be in with the chance of completing it!

The Sims Freeplay- Hobbies: Snorkelling

LIFE DREAMS AND LEGACIES QUEST – BEACH: SNORKEL HIRE KIOSK – TEENS AND ADULTS SIMS – PRIZES: SEAL THEMED ITEMS AND 5LP

Once you complete the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest you will be able to use orbs to build the Beach, once the Beach is built you need orbs to build the snorkel hire kiosk before your teen and adult sims can complete this hobby.

Once built a teen or adult sim can click on the first pool:

  • Snorkel in Tide Pool (costs S100 each time)- 1 hour

When you start you can only use the first pool,  you need to find all 6 different items in the tide pool to complete the first two row in the snorkelling collection to unlock the second pool which is the lagoon, you then need to find the 6 items in the lagoon to unlock the final pool which is the reef option, find the last 6 to complete the collection

  • Snorkel in tide pool (costs S100 each time)- 1 hour
  • Snorkel in lagoon (costs S200 each time)- 2 hours
  • Snorkel at reef (costs S300 each time)- 6 hours

NOTE: only one sim can do this hobby the first time, once you unlock all 3 pools 3 sims can complete this hobby at once

Once you complete the collection for the first time you can use the pools in any order but you will still need to do each option to find the different items to complete each row

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head to find one of the snorkelling collectibles in that row. You still level up in this hobby but the hobby level up percentage isn’t important as the snorkelling collectibles don’t unlock depending on your level, when you finish two rows of snorkelling collectibles you will unlock the ability to find the items in the next 2 rows using the next pool.

The table below shows you the level up reward that your sims will receive when they level up in this hobby:

The first time you complete this hobby every two rows you complete you unlock a new pool to find more collectibles, for the other rows you will earn XPs. After the first time you will earn XPs when you complete a row in the hobby but to complete the collection you need to find all 18 of the collectibles

The rewards for completing this collection are inflatable seals, beach towels and 5LP:

  • The first time you complete the snorkelling hobby you unlock inflatable seals which can be found in the pool items section and beach towels which can be found in the outdoor furniture section

  • From the second time onwards each time you complete the collection you will earn 5LP

VACATIONERS GUIDE TO THE OUTDOORS QUEST – CAMPFIRE – TEEN, ADULT AND SENIOR SIMS – PRIZES: TENTS, DEER MEADOW, CANOE AND 3LP

TIME LIMITED HOBBY – TIME: 7 DAYS – TIME LIMITED PRIZE: CAMPFIRE

Once you complete the Survivalist hobby, open the bridge and clear the area (check out my guide to the campgrounds post for more information) the 7 day time limit will then start straight away, your teen, adult or senior sim needs to complete this hobby in the time limit to unlock the campfire:

When you first begin this hobby and click on the storyteller chair you will only get one option:

Tell a comedy story- 3 hours 30 minutes

You will need to find 3 different comedy stories to unlock the romance story option, once you find all 3 romance stories you unlock the action stories to find those 3, once you have those 3 you unlock the last option which is scary stories, when you find those 3 different stories you will complete the collection:

  • Tell a comedy story- 3 hours 30 minutes
  • Tell a romance story- 4 hours 30 minutes
  • Tell an action story- 5 hours 30 minutes
  • Tell a scary story- 6 hours 30 minutes

NOTE: once you complete the collection for the first time you can find the stories in any order but you will still need to do each option to find the different stories to complete each row

TIP: only one sim can complete this hobby at a time, you can send another sim to a neighbours town to complete this hobby (if they have unlocked the storyteller chair!)

  • If you complete this hobby in the time limit you will unlock the campfire which can be found in the outdoor decorations section and costs S20,000. You can turn it on/off, roast marshmallows for 5 minutes or warm up for 10 minutes

The rewards for completing this collection are tents, deer meadow, canoe and 3LP:

The first time you complete the collection you unlock the tents, deer meadow and canoe at the campgrounds (even if you do not manage to complete the hobby in the time limit)
