Completing this quest allows your sims to get married and if you complete within 1 day you unlock the wedding bundle. If you don’t complete within the time you can still complete the quest and get your sims married you just won’t get the wedding outfits prize.
NOTE: the key to completing this quest is to not be romantic until you are told because if you become partners too soon you will be unable to continue this quest with those two sims

- Quick Rinse- 5 seconds (using a shower)
- Get 2 sims in one house (use the whistle on the simtracker to bring another sim to this house)
- Be romantic with another sim- 1 minute [inspired: 57 seconds] (select the interaction between two sims)
- Make an espresso- 20 seconds [inspired: 19 secs] (if blue footprints appear read this post)
- Flirt with another sim- 5 minutes [inspired: 4 mins 45 secs] (select the interaction between two sims)
- Form a budding romance (be romantic again, a pop up will appear to say they are in a budding relationship)
- Have 2 sims watch a rom-com- completes straight away
Click watch a rom-com on TV with one sim then the other sim clicks join in, this will complete as soon as the second sim starts, so you can cancel the action before they finish by clicking on the sim and selecting the red x on the action progress bar
- Form a dating relationship (be romantic 3 times until this happens)
- Make a sim kiss another sim on the cheek- 2 seconds (needs to be dating to do this, don’t become partners until you have done this!!)
- Send a sim home (click on the house with the arrow inside it button on the simtracker)
- ‘Fantasize’ in a bed- 5 minutes [inspired: 3 mins 48 secs]
- Have 2 sims in the same house
- Form a partner relationship (be romantic 6 times until this happens)
- Have 2 sims woohoo- 5 minutes [inspired: 4 mins 45 secs] (select the interaction between two sims)
- Get engaged (propose marriage- 6 seconds) (select the interaction between two sims)
- ‘Announce wedding’ on phone- 5 minutes [inspired: 4 mins 45 secs]
First phone is free in the electronics section of home store
- Have 2 engaged sims move in together- 4 seconds (select the interaction between two sims)
NOTE: the sim who lives in the house you want them both in needs to ask the other sim to move in
- Have 3 sims in one house
- Get married (be romantic 6 times to get the option)- 6 seconds

How do I get two sims in a house?

Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it
Why can’t my sim kiss another sim on the cheek?
You have probably been romantic too many times, you need to be dating to get this interaction, if they are already partners you won’t be able to do this task. To get around this you need a sim to be romantic to a different sim until they are dating so you can complete this goal
How do I send a sim home?
Click on the house with the arrow in it button next to a sim who isn’t busy on the simtracker
I can’t be romantic, why?
You cannot be romantic until you get the goal in this quest to be romantic

hi I just did the choco pudding last night then it was time for my quest that stated the baking I followed you and baked it at night but at that time when I pressed the choco pudding the quest step didn’t respond I had to bake another and use some LP to help me finish and that’s how I moved on please help 😦

Call a friend means ring one on the phone not bring one to your house

You should be still able to complete the quest, you could always use two other sims if you need to

I’m finding it really difficult to get another of my couples to get engaged. I just spent 50,000 on engagement rings that kept on getting rejected.
Should I be just trying a lot with the cheapest ring or continue with the expensive ring/s?
They are most likely to say yes with the most expensive ring, the cheapest ring is pretty much always rejected

Several of mine have become engaged with cash rings. I decided not to waste the LP after the one ring I bought with them got rejected.

I allways be romantic to my sims but they are not progressing
once their bars are full you need to either get engaged if they aren’t already then be romantic again until its full and the option to get married appears then get married then it can’t progress further

No, when you complete this quest you will unlock the ability for sims to marry, once they are romance with each other you will get the options to get engaged (you will have to buy a ring though) and then get married

Thanks for your post. I finished the this quest and was told to go to the park and then back home to inspect the home and thrn asked to propose at home again. So instead of getting married at the park they got married at home with no wedding to speak of. Now my sims have wedding dresses and tuxes but how do they have an actual wedding?
That was the wedding, they got married, there is no ceremony as such, the wedding dresses and tuxedos are for future weddings

I completed the love in the air quest …… and it told me where to find other wedding dress and etc… which is the prize but I just don’t remember where to find it

Click on the furniture picture in the middle bottom of the screen, open that then on the right side you will find the garden section, then find the plants tab

You have as much time as you want to finish the quest but if you don’t do it in the time you wont get the prize

When you get the option to get engaged, if they are all greyed out this is a glitch since the new update you will need to wait until they fix it to progress

Hi! I’m currently on this quest and I’m on the “grow onions” step. I only have 22 hrs and 45 mins left though. If I don’t finish, will my Sims not have the ability to get married? It says “complete this quest to unlock the ability for your Sims to get married.” If I don’t finish and they can’t get married, will the quest come around again or will my Sims never be able to get married?? No you just won’t get the wedding bundle, they will be able to marry when you complete the quest so don’t panic!
I am currently doing the ” Love is in the air” quest at level 6. Does it cost any simoleons or LP to build the park? If so, how much?

What goal are you on? There should be the romantic options when you get to the flirt with another sim goal

It does say how to do this in the post, You need to have one sim select the option then once they are sitting down eating get the other sim to do the option, they can’t both use the fridge at the same time

I’m currently in the “love is in the air” quest & on the call a friend task. I’m stuck, I can’t find a phone! What party task? Do you mean dance to the stereo? Because that completes straight away once they are all doing it
My daughter and I are playing this game on our respective devices. If anyone is fortunate enough to read all this before actually starting the quest, my main word of advice would be this: MAKE TIME for this (and probably future) quests. There’s a staggering amount of hoops to jump through to complete this quest. I don’t know how much “work” a Sim can miss without impacting their career, but if I could do this over again, I’d make my two Sims skip work until this was finished. I’m now rethinking my game as a whole, and considering just having a town where everyone “shacks up” (lives together) without getting married. Or I’ll wait until my town is pretty well populated before having marriages and kids. Who knows?
Just remember: Make time for both yourself, and your Sims!
Believe me, future quests are worse some have many tasks that take a day to do each!
Missing work doesn’t have an effect on the career they don’t lose their job or anything but their job level won’t go up

I think with the update, they added ridiculously longer tasks to finish. Make 3 sims watch a show (20mins) then make 3 sims watch a movie (1hr 45mins) after making 2 sims watch a movie (1hr 45mins).. I’ve yet to plant an onion and make heart shape cookies and bake pudding..
I’m making my sims do team work on the tasks so I hope I get this done before the 2 day time frame 🙂

The goal is to grow onions, you need a garden plot, just find onions in the list
It keeps telling me to give the sim an opportunity to inspect the house they’re going to live in. It then says send your sim home and try asking again…I have done that, but it keeps saying it! Help!
