BIRD FEEDING QUEST – BIRD FEEDING BENCH – SENIOR SIMS ONLY – PRIZES: CAGED BIRD, BENCH AND 3LP
Seniors can bird feed once you complete the Bird Feeding Quest. Once you have you will be able to find the first bench in the park, you need to find all 3 birds on the first bench to unlock the next bench
Once at the park find the bench with the birds on it and select ‘feed birds’ for 10 minutes
You will need to find 3 different birds at the park to unlock the swim center bench to find the next 3 birds. Once you have found all 3 birds at the swim center you will unlock the bench at the community center to find the next 3 birds. Once you have found those 3 new birds you will unlock the final bench at the snow park to find the last 3 birds:
- At the Park: Feed Birds- 10 minutes
- At the Swim Center: Feed Birds- 1 hour
- At the Community Center: Feed Birds- 6 hours
- At the Snow Park: Feed Birds- 12 hours
Once you complete the collection for the first time you can use the benches in any order but you will still need to do each option to find the different birds to complete each row

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head to find one of the bird collectibles in that row. You still level up in this hobby but the hobby level up percentage isn’t important as the bird collectibles don’t unlock depending on your level, when you finish a row of bird collectibles you will unlock the ability to find the birds in the next row.
The table below shows you the level up reward that your sims will receive when they level up in this hobby:

You won’t find a new collectible each time, you will get repeats, if this happens just keep going, you will find them eventually! If it is still taking too long you can use the lucky spin on the row where you cannot find the item, this will cost LPs, when you click on the LP button it will clear the row and give you a random collectible on that row so you aren’t guaranteed a new item (you will get back any other collectibles you already had in that row) Need to earn some LPs to use the lucky spin?
The completed bird feeding collection is shown below, once you complete the collection you need to click ‘start a new collection’ at the top of the hobby collection screen, this clears the board so you can complete the collection again to earn more rewards (you will only get the option to restart the hobby collection when you have completed the collection):
The first time you complete a row you will unlock a new place to bird feed, further times you will earn XPs when you complete a row in the hobby but to complete the collection you need to find all 12 of the collectibles
The rewards for completing this collection are a caged bird, bird feeding bench and 3LP:
- The first time you complete this collection you unlock a caged bird (they can be found in the pet section of the home store and cost 10LP)
- The second time you unlock the bird feeding bench for your homes, this bench has all 4 bird feeding options on it so you don’t need to go to all of the places anymore (it costs 2LP and can be found in promotions r us store)
- From the third time onwards each time you complete the collection you will earn 3LP

My sims freeplay seems to have a bug. I completed the park and swim center birds to unlock the community center ones, but the bench is not there. So I used the lucky spin and unlocked the snow park bench. That one is there. So I am missing the community center one. Do you know why this could be?

I have unlocked all the birds from the park and the pool center. The snow park bench still won’t unlock. Is there a bug ??
Have you got all of the community center birds? You need to get them first before the snow park bench unlocks

Hi, I finished up collecting all of the birds, and now I can’t find the prize (parrot in cage).
Is this in the inventory somewhere? When I go to the “pets” it shows it costs 10 LP although the first one should be for free.

The first one should be free, maybe they have changed it since the update
have you looked in the pets section of the inventory?
I think they changed it too… just completed the hobby and it costs 10LP for the parrot 😦

This isn’t a quest, this is a hobby, but the bird feeding quest isn’t the last one, you still have the in stitches quest and the life dreams and legacies quest
Please help! I completed the bird feeding quest awhile back (before in stitches quest).
I now have a senior sim that I chose the life dream to feed the birds so I can earn a life orb for the pet fanatic personality. I have my sim at the park & for some reason I cannot get her to find the bench to feed the birds…
The bench should be in the middle of the park with birds around it
I have searched the entire park and none of the benches have birds near or around them 😦

Update: Now, the second time you complete the hobby, you unlock a bench… and I’m guessing it is a bird-feeding bench that can be purchased from the home store. (Haven’t completed it a second time yet for details.)

Hi, I am doing this hobby and i am at the Community Center now. If I do the 10min one , at the park, can i find the birds that are supposed to be found on the bench at the C. Center or I have to be at the c.c ? And does this also count when i will have unlocked all benches? Thanks 🙂
you have to be at the community center to find the birds at the community center.
When you unlock all the benches you still have to go to the specific place to find all 3 birds there, but when you unlock the bench for your homes you can then find all the birds at one bench, if you pick the 10 minute option you will find the park birds on that bench, 1 hour will be the second row and so on.

Hint, try and find a neighbour with a bird feeding bench, these are 2* so you can do all the tasks quicker ie 11 hours not 12 hours at snow park. And they are all birds in 1 place. Just working towards my bench myself now.

Are you looking in the pet section of buy mode? If you are, I don’t know why it isn’t showing up sorry, you may need to contact EA

Does this hobby have a time limit reward? Similar to the infant hobby which gives the bouncer as a time limit reward… so that I can prepare right away.. hehehe
no this hobby doesn’t have a time limit fortunately!
Hi. I just started the hobby with one of my seniors (I’ve completed the Life Dreams & Legacies quest) but the only bench available is the one at the park that takes 10 minutes. And I have no time for my seniors to keep doing this every 10 minutes to complete their Life Dream. Why aren’t the benches at the snow park or the swin center showing anymore?
You have to find all 3 at the park before you unlock the next bench at the swim center

Where do you feed birds at the snow park ?
At the bench in front of the cabin at the snow park.
I know its been awhile but hope you are still there. 🙂 I have seniors and I have the bird hobby but they can’t use it? I don’t get the option to find the birds at the park or anywhere. Have already past that quest so I am guessing I glitched thru it? Any idea how I can trigger this?
