You need to find the super hero toddler at the stables to start this quest (do not click to start this quest until you have built the stables and have a toddler sim in your town) If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock super hero costumes for your toddler sims, you can still complete this quest once the time limit is up to unlock the finger painting hobby but you won’t get the costumes
You cannot complete this quest at the same time as any other discovery quest

- Greet Superpower Ultra- 1 minute
- Accept mission- 2 minutes
- Send a toddler home
- Draw a plan of action- 12 hours 30 minutes (buy a blackboard from the toddler section)
- Ask for milk and cookies- 2 hours 30 minutes
- Give cookies to a toddler- 1 minute (using the classic wall cabinet from counter tops section)
- Ask for a second plate- 5 minutes
- Grab a second plate of cookies- 5 hours 30 minutes
- Give cookies to Superpower Ultra- 6 hours 30 minutes
- Accept sidekick role- 15 minutes
- Watch cartoons- 2 hours 50 minutes
- Victory dance with Superpower Ultra- 5 hours 30 minutes
- Escape on a rocking horse- 12 hours 30 minutes (buy a rocking horse from the toddler section- the rocking plane works for this too!)
- Return to the stables
- Slowly approach horse- 2 hours 50 minutes
- Look for a carrot- 11 hours 30 minutes
- Give a carrot to a horse- 4 minutes
- Talk to a horse- 5 hours
- Return home
- Take a time out- 19 hours (bed)
- Apologise to an adult- 5 minutes
- Watch cartoons together- 5 hours (toddler selects option, then adult selects join in)
- Play tag with Superpower Ultra- 10 seconds
- Learn the secret handshake- 1 day
- Share adventures- 8 hours 30 minutes (using a bath and requires an adult for this goal)

Yes, the time limit for the hobby starts straight away once this quest is complete, you can click no when the hobby pop up appears but this does not stop the timer going down

I am trying to have my toddler perform the ‘Slowly Approach Horse’ task, but I keep having to restart it cause it cuts off for some reason. And I’m not telling it to. I think maybe the horse keeps moving from the position where I started the task and that throws off the AI so the toddler just stops. But I’m not positive on this. Is there any way to keep the horse from moving or maybe another solution to this problem?
Have you tried putting the toddler on to complete the task and then leaving the stables until they have completed this?
Help!! I can’t escape on a rocking horse, and my game doesn’t have a rocking unicorn!! Please help!

I have 2 steps left in this quest, I am working on learn secret hand shake, and then will need to share adventure. I have about 31 hours left on the quest clock and 23 hours on the hand shake. I have 2 toddlers, is it possible to start my other toddler on the share adventure, in the bath, to finish a bit after the hand shake step SO that I will finish in the time allotted? Thank you so much for your wonderful blog, I have used your site so many times to help me finish quests and for helpful hints! You are an amazing gamer and I really am really grateful I found your blog not long after I started playing the Sims freeplay, it has help me so many times!!!
Unfortunately you cannot start the last task early as it isn’t a task you can normally do

Is it better to wait until I have more than one toddler before I start this quest? I am concerned about the finger painting hobby starting and being unable to finish it with only one toddler.
Only one toddler can complete the finger painting hobby for the first time in the time limit so having more than one toddler won’t help you complete it any faster unfortunately
I am have trouble with the super toddler quest. I’m stuck on the part where it says to escape on the rocking horse but when I click the rocking horse it doesn’t give me the option to escape.

When you complete this quest, it starts the Finger Painting Hobby timer straightaway, but does it also start the timer for Strange Things in Simtown at the same time? Or can I wait until I’ve completed the time limited hobby before launching Strange Things?
I want to know if I need two toddlers – one to work on the hobby, and another one to work on Strange Things if I want to complete both in time to receive the Limited Time Prizes.

The timers won’t start at the same time, you will need to click on the toddler in the park to start the strange things quest whereas the finger painting hobby timer starts as soon as the super toddler quest is complete.
You can have a toddler completing each of these at the same time.
Hi! Thank you so much for all of this info. I am unable to find the answer to my question so wondering if someone can help me out. To give background on where I’m at: I am not currently completing another discovery quest (at least I don’t think so, I looked at the list posted here and I’m not doing any of those, unless I’m overlooking). I also am on level 19, I have a toddler, and I’ve built the stables. But when I bring my toddler to the stables and have him click on the little superhero kid running around, I just get the little popup that summarizes what I need to do to start the quest (everything is checked off in that popup). So basically, I cannot figure out how to “greet” the superhero kid to begin the quest.
This is a known issue, the makers are working on a fix so hopefully you can start the quest soon.
I got to Escape on a rocking horse step but on my rocking horse (which is free from the Toddler section) there’s no option for “Escape!”. There are only Rock Out, Rescue Damsel, and Play Cowboys. How can I enable the Escape? Thanks 🙂

What do I do if there’s no “escape” option on the rocking horse when I click on it at the time that the instructions say to do so? I tried moving the rocking horse, getting another one from the store and placing it (for some reason the regular rocking horse is free for me, I’m not sure if this is somehow connected to the problem) but it’s still not showing up as an option!

I am halfway through the quest, I am on level 17, I have a rocking horse, but unfortunately, when I click on the horse, there is no ‘escape’ on the option menu, so, I am stocked in this quest.
I even exchanged the rocking horse I had for a new one, but the problem still persist.
Apparently, they are others experiencing the same problem.
Any Idea if AE and the makers will resolve the issue?!

I have a different task in the last part of the quest. Instead of share adventures, I have learning the handshake with the toddler hero for 22 hrs. Good thing I still have 2 days left.
Are you sure share adventures wasn’t the last task? As learning the handshake is the task before this one.

Btw you can use the “rocking airplane” for the escape on a rocking horse step. It’s a 3 star object and it cuts the time way down.
