This quest unlocks the ability to submit your houses for a chance for them to be added to the architect houses tab so other players can build them! Find the realtor in the park to begin this quest. If you complete in the time limit you will unlock the hot tub, you can still complete this quest once the time is up to unlock the romantic furniture and the ability to submit your houses but you won’t get the hot tub
You cannot complete this quest at the same time as any other discovery quest
HOW LONG DOES THIS QUEST TAKE TO COMPLETE?
Times may vary depending on the star rating an item has
- Ask Lucius about hubbub- 1 minute
- Go to work at the real estate (click on the pulsing suitcase of a sim who is a real estate agent) NOTE: keep them at work so you can see the sign for the next task
- Read a real estate sign- 6 hours 30 minutes (the sign will appear by the mailbox once a sim has gone to work as a real estate agent)
- Discuss home takeover with a sim- 1 minute (select the interaction between two sims)
- Search for well groomed sim on simbook- 9 hours (computer)
- Extend or build a room
- Have a sim take a selfie- 10 seconds (click on currently selected sim)
- Post selfie on Lucius’s simbook- 6 hours
- Become incensed- 2 minutes
- Check fine print on a sign- 12 hours 30 minutes (the sign will appear by the mailbox once a sim has gone to work as a real estate agent again)
- Buy an item from the home store
- Submit house via sign (you don’t even need to submit at this stage, just click on the sign then click the green arrow to complete the task, if you don’t do it now you can submit a house later- make sure a sim is at work as a real estate agent first so you can see the sign)

Where can it be found? In the outdoor furniture section
Cost? S65,000
Is the prize worth it? This quest is really easy to complete in the time limit, as long as you have a sim to go to work as a real estate agent when you need to click on the sign! The hot tub is fairly expensive but I do think it is worth completing in time to unlock it!
If you don’t complete in the time limit you will still receive the romantic beds, seats and fairy lights:
Beds can be found in the bedroom section and cost S17,500 each
Fairy lights can be found in the lighting section and cost S21,000
Romantic seats can be found in the outdoor furniture section and cost S15,00 each

I think I misunderstood the event blip & said “no” to submitting my house at that time, as I thought that I could submit later, but it seems I missed the boat. Is there a way to still submit, or was that a one time chance? Thanks in advance ❤
You can submit it later, just make sure you have a sim at work as a real estate agent so you can see the sign

Hey! I am wondering why the content is missing from the examples of the new architect style homes. When I click a new house lot and go to choose one of these, all five are blank. I completed the extreme home takeover quest and I thought that would unlock these new home styles. Any suggestions? Thanks for your blog! Love it!
This appears to be a glitch, try restarting your device and hopefully the contents of the houses will reappear

Interesting…..I have 10 hours and 45 mins left in the quest and I’m on the last assignment: submitting the house. BUT for some reason none of my realtors can go to work! Is it because I’m too the quest? Have to wait until morning maybe? Weird!
If they have already been to work today you will have to wait until tomorrow to send them again or send another sim instead

Hi, I do not have this extreme home takeover quest on my iOS game app. Is there any pre-requisite in order for quest to appear?
Have you got the latest version of the game? If so, you will find the real estate developer in the park. You don’t have to complete another quest before this one apart from the ocean view estate quest I believe but you cannot complete another discovery quest at the same time as this one.

Yes, the real estate developer will be in the park for you to start the quest whenever you want after you have completed another discovery quest

Hi, finished the quest, have all the furniture except the hot tub. Checked outdoors furniture, restarted my iPad, it’s just not there. What can I do? Where else could it be?

As far as I know, I did. I got all the other outdoor furniture and the nice bed and the lights. But I can’t find the hot tub.
The hot tub was the prize for completing in the time limit, the others were just the reward for finishing the quest whether it was in the time limit or not so you probably didn’t complete in time.
Do you know what will we get from EA if our house featured in architect tab?

I managed to get two sims in a hot tub, I had one sim get in before I got the other sim to join and they could access the hot tub from all sides so if it isn’t accessible for the second sim that may be why you are having trouble.

I tried posting a comment on your urban furniture event post but i couldn’t? I hope its okay I put my comment here. I added a 24 hr time extension and its only been maximum 12 hours which means i should still have atleast another 10 but when i opened the game it told me it had ended and if i wanted to put a time extension and I only had one left (i had 2 before) i read your comment on the other people about emailing EA but can you tell me how please?

I’m nearly finished this quest, I’m up to the part that I need to ‘Become Insensed’ but I can’t find Lucius. He isn’t at the park anymore
He should appear at the house that your sim is at, try looking around your sims houses for him
I don’t have the option to do this quest at all? Can you tell me why that might be?
This is because you are currently on another discovery quest, you can’t do this one and the balcony one at the same time.
I completed that discovery quest. I have not had a discovery quest now in three days. I still don’t have the option to do this discovery quest
But when you asked that you also commented on the balcony quest saying you were stuck on the task to get them to make out which is a discovery quest.
If you have now finished that quest and you still can’t find the realtor in the park then do you have the latest version of the game? That is only reason I can think of as to why it hasn’t appeared for you, if you do then you will need to contact EA to see if they can fix this problem for you.

Hi there! I did start the mission then never made it to the end within the time frame. Now I have it still pops up as a mission without a time frame. So I’m trying to complete it to get rid of it. So I’m stuck on the read the fine print step. I keep sending folks as a agent but no sign pops up!
This sounds like a glitch to me, unfortunately only EA will be able to fix this for you so you will have to contact them, sorry!
The agent is in the park but there isn’t a blip above him to start the quest. I am not doing any other quest at this time, what am I missing?
Are you sure you aren’t currently completing another discovery quest? If not have you tried restarting your device to see if it appears?

If the sign does not appear when your sim is at work as a real estate agent then this is a glitch and you will need to contact EA to see if they can fix this for you.
I was once addicted to the game! I would play for hours then I got my mom and sister involved and we were all playing the sims on our phones and tablets. I decided to upgrade to the pc games and yet again got addicted! Purchased all the sims 3 and just got up to date on the sims 4! Definitely love your blog!
I need help, please. I am unable to do the quest. I still have lucious (spelling) in the park but I am unable to speak with him in order to begin the quest. I figured out what I was doing wrong. There is a round icon over by the fountain in the park that I had to click on to begin this discovery quest. Finally! This was driving me crazy and that is a short trip for me anyways! Thank you for your blog, this website and everything that you do! Can’t find the hot tub in the outdoor furniture section
Did you complete the quest in the time limit?
Yes! After I completed the quest there is a hot tub in my outdoor furniture section the the next day The hot tub is no longer on the outdoor furniture section 😦
It may have just moved down the outdoor furniture section as you would have seen it at the beginning when you first got it as it was a new item, now it will be further down the list.
Do you know if the architect homes that were available before the Easter architect homes be back? I really hope so cuz I REALLY wanted them but I missed out!!

I started this quest accidentally but can’t seem to find Lucius in the park! I’ve been stuck for a long time so can’t complete this quest or move onto any new it’s. Any help would be much appreciated!
Try leaving the park and restarting your device, hopefully he will reappear, if he doesn’t you will need to contact EA to see if they can fix this for you.

I don’t understand this, how did u do it? I completed the home takover quest ages ago and have checked every single tab in my home store but I still can’t find a hot tub!!!!
If you didn’t complete in the time limit you will not have unlocked the hot tub.
I completed the quest but i doidnt have the hot tub for free.the hot tub appears on my home stre but its not free.
Please read the post before commenting several times as it says that it costs S65,000- it is not free.

Well it depends what time you get up, you will have to work this out for yourself unfortunately. I couldn’t really tell you what time to start as everyone has different schedules so what works for me may not work for you.
Can you submit houses made on the Island or is it only for houses on the main part of the town?

Yes you can submit houses on the island.
I finished the quest and submited my house design. I look at the featured houses and they are pretty pricey lol does the play that designed the houses get simoleons if someone buys their design
No, you get nothing if your house is picked.

They don’t stay forever, if you want to buy one you should as soon as possible before they change them.
