The Sims Freeplay- Party of the Decade Update

The Sims Freeplay turns 10 in December so get ready for the celebrations and Christmas in the latest Sims Freeplay update, keep reading to find out what is happening!

NEW CHRISTMAS QUEST

The A Christmas Warming Quest (no longer available) complete this brand new Christmas Quest in the 13 day time limit from the 12th December to unlock glam themed items and Claus Compound House Template

RETURNING & NEW INFLUENCE ISLAND EVENTS

Influence Island Season 20: Glam Xmas (no longer available) starts on the 30th November for 10 days

Influence Island Season 21: Glam Garages (no longer available) starts on the 25th December for 10 days

RETURNING- Influence Island Season 2: Scandi (available now) starts on the 10th January for 10 days

If you started it before but didn’t finish it you will start from the beginning (the clan progress will also be reset), if you unlocked any of the prizes before you will earn a free one of each in buy mode

I will not be creating a new post about the Influence Island Event for each season, the only thing that is different is the prizes shown here, click here for more information if you are new to the Influence Island

RETURNING & NEW SIMCHASE

SimChase Season 36: Scrappy Scrub-Down (available now) starts on the 31st December for 9 days

RETURNING- SimChase Season 17: Feuding Families! (not available yet) starts on the 16th January for 7 days

If you started it before but didn’t finish it you will start from the beginning, if you unlocked any of the prizes before you will earn a free one of each in buy mode and any create a sim items will earn you SP instead

I will not be creating a new post about SimChase for each season, the only thing that is different is the prizes shown here, click here for more information if you are new to SimChase

NEW PREGNANCY EVENT

~~There are new time limited prizes when you complete the 9 day pregnancy event in the time limit and earn the baby bonus between the 3rd-13th January~~

DUE TO A GLITCH WHERE A LOT OF PLAYERS AREN’T SEEING THIS EVENT IT WILL BE REPEATED IN THE NEXT UPDATE

If you start the 9 day pregnancy event anytime during the time frame you have the chance of earning the maternity items in that pack if you complete the event in the time limit, for example if you start a pregnancy event on the 13th January and complete in the time limit you will earn the items above

You need to have completed the first pregnancy event in the A Bump-y Ride Quest before you can earn the maternity prizes

Returning Quests and Events?

The Belle Hotel Live Event (no longer available) will return on the 30th November for 10 days, complete in the time limit to unlock hotel themed items

The Inner Child’s Play Quest (not available yet) will be back between the 25th December- 2nd January as a Player Favourite Quest* complete this quest in the time limit to unlock the kid’s treehouse (the link is to my post from when this was last available, I will create a new post when it returns)

*What is a Player Favourite Quest? You will be able to start these within an open period date when they return if you haven’t completed it already. These are optional so you will need to click on the green play button next to the title of the event in the active tasks tab to start.

The Long Hair Event (not available yet) will be returning on the 16th January for 7 days, complete in the time limit to unlock all the long hairstyles for your female adult sims (the link is to my post from when this was last available, I will create a new post when it returns)

What else?

To celebrate the 10th Birthday of The Sims Freeplay each player will receive 10 Mystery Keys when they first log in between the 3rd-16th December. The mystery keys can then be used to purchase the fortune box from the mystery box shop.

You must log in before the 16th December to claim this

10th Birthday Anniversary Nightclub Quest– head to the nightclub from the 3rd December to claim a prize from a Sims Freeplay Sim Guru (game developer) every other day for 14 days (there are 7 in total):

Prize: Wumples Onesie Outfits for female adult sims (available in 8 colours)

15th December- Artist Nick

Prizes: Mrs Claus Cozy Outfit, Glasses and Hair in 12 colours for female senior sims

The first one of each buy mode prize is free (check out my post here to see all the prizes in detail)

The game developers will all be in the nightclub until the 16th December so if you miss a day you still have time to claim before they all leave

From the 15th December when you first log into the game you will receive a Christmas gift pack with one free of each item- a pop up will appear to let you know you have receive it (in previous years we got a gift each day but like last year, this year we get them all in one go)
