Do you want to add cars to your house lots? Not just parked outside but actually inside the grid? Once you complete this feature quest you will be able to add cars anywhere on a house lot! To start this quest you need to have built the car dealership then find the mechanic at the nightclub. There is no time limit but it will cost you simoleons to begin this quest.
What is a feature quest?
A feature quest unlocks and introduces a new feature
The quest is shorter than a main or discovery quest
There is no time limit or time limited prize
Costs simoleons to start the quest (cost varies depending on your level)
You cannot start a feature quest at the same time as another feature or discovery quest
There are two feature quests currently in the game, this one and the L-Shaped Rooms Quest. You can select which feature quest you want to do when you click on Lee (if you haven’t completed the other one already)
Times may vary depending on the star rating the item has
Click on the mechanic to get the pop up to begin this quest, it will cost simoleons to begin (the amount varies depending on your level):
Speak to the mechanic- 30 seconds
Listen to Lee’s idea- 15 seconds
Check junk mail- 48 seconds (on a computer)
Get help from Lee- 2 minutes (go back to the nightclub to talk to her again)
Buy a car from the car dealer (the red sedan is free but you can buy any car to complete this)
Visit a house with a car
Move car onto a lot: open buy mode and click on the car, it will move to the grid and you can then place it like any object, click the green tick to place it
Return car to parking space: from buy mode click on the blue arrow and the car will go back to the parking space (you can also click on the car outside of buy mode and select ‘return to parking space’)
Move car to new location: go back into buy mode and move it back onto the grid and place it (you can place it on any floor and in any room that has a free space)
Take photo of the car- 15 seconds (select the option on the car with a sim)
View a car’s available actions (click on the car with a sim)
Show Lee photos- 1 minute (Lee is at the nightclub)
Celebrate- 1 minute (with Lee)
Say Goodbye to Lee- 30 seconds
QUEST IS COMPLETE!
You can now freely move cars around your house lots!

Do you want to add different wallpaper to each of your walls in your sims houses? Now you can! Once you complete this quest you will be able to add feature walls! To start this quest find Summer in the park (see the picture below to see what she looks like) If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock wallpaper and flooring, you can still complete this quest once the time limit is up to unlock the feature walls option but you won’t get the wallpaper or flooring

Browse new trends- 2 hours 40 minutes (using a computer)
Add new flooring
Get another sim’s opinion- 4 hours 5 minutes (select interaction between two sims)
Contemplate design- 3 hours 40 minutes (on a couch)
Call Summer Feels- 48 seconds (on a phone)

Watch DIY Homes 6 times- 2 hours 40 minutes each (using a TV, you need to do this 6 times so use 6 sims to complete at once)
Look for Bree’s email- 1 hour 15 minutes (stack of magazines)
Call 7 sims about DIY Homes magazine- 2 hours 50 minutes (using a phone, you need to do this 7 times so use 7 sims to complete this at once)
Look for Bree’s email- 1 hour 8 minutes (using a computer)
Take photo of design- 4 hours 55 minutes (click on sim with plumbob above their head to find this option)
Email Bree the photo- 5 hours 30 minutes (using a computer)

Find and inspect a griller in the mist- 2 hours 15 minutes (click on the barbecue in the park)
Inspect a box of soap- 2 hours (click on a soapbox)
Mark letter K on chessboard- 4 hours 55 minutes

Have two sims decipher the list- 7 hours 15 minutes (select the interaction between two sims)
Place ‘beige carpet’ in a room- can be found in the floors section
Place some new wallpaper- buying any wallpaper from the walls section will complete this task
Place some more wallpaper
Discuss multiple wallpapers- 4 hours 55 minutes (select the interaction between two sims)
Ask Kewl about multiple wallpapers- 6 hours 8 minutes
Now when you select wallpaper 4 yellow boxes will appear, one next to each wall (this represents the wall next to it)
The wallpaper will be placed on all the walls with the green shading in the yellow lines. If you don’t want the wallpaper on a wall click on the green shading and it will go white, this means the wallpaper isn’t being applied to that wall (the wall will remain unchanged)
The green shading needs to be on all the walls that you want that new wallpaper on, once you select or deselect the walls click the green tick to place the paper:

Is it possible to complete this quest in the time limit?

Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it.
I don’t understand the waiting tasks, can you explain?
The waiting tasks will only appear if you are ahead of where you need to be at that time so it means you are on track for finishing this quest on time. The time you need to wait for varies for everyone depending on how far ahead you are, if you are only an hour ahead then you will need to wait an hour, if you sped up a lot of tasks then you will have to wait longer. Once the waiting time is up the task will complete and you will continue with the quest. If you don’t get the goal to wait or it completes straight away this means you are behind in the quest but not having to wait allows you the chance to catch up!
What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?
New wallpaper and flooring
What happens if I don’t complete in the time limit, can I still finish this quest?
Yes you have to finish it to unlock the feature wall option before you can move onto the next quest
I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?
No, you cannot redo quests
Can I still get the prize if I don’t complete in the time limit?
No, the only way to get the limited time prizes is by completing the quest in the time limit

LEVEL UNLOCKS: 8 UNLOCKS: pregnancy and pregnancy events
Pregnancy has arrived in simtown! Once you complete the Two and a Half Sims Quest you will be able to build the maternity store in simtown from level 8 (you can find it next to the real estate agency and near the mall) once the store is built this quest will begin. When you complete the quest you unlock pregnancy so your female adult sims will grow a baby bump!
You cannot complete this quest at the same time as any other discovery quest
The price for building the maternity store will vary depending on how many businesses you have already built
In this quest you will be completing the pregnancy event, there is a 9 day time limit for this event and if you complete in the time limit you will unlock the baby bonus but you can still complete this once the time limit is up.
Have a Doctor explain pregnancies- 30 seconds (call a Doctor using a phone, they will appear at that house so you can select the option)
Talk pregnancies with a sim- 30 seconds
Purchase the maternity outfit from the maternity store- black and grey outfit costs 500 maternity tokens
Once this quest is over you can still earn maternity tokens to buy all the items from the maternity store by completing another pregnancy event!
Place empty crib- buy one from the infant section of the home store
Start the pregnancy event- for this you need an adult female, this event takes 9 days! Click on the crib and select the pregnancy event option and then select the adult female who you want to become pregnant:
Select sim icon- click on the pregnancy event button in the corner of the screen then click on the picture of your sim
View pregnancy daily goals- head back to the pregnancy event tab
Daily goals have to be completed by the pregnant sim, no other sim can complete these goals. Your sim has 9 days of goals to complete, you don’t have to finish a days goals on time, if you are behind you will start on the next day as soon as the previous days goals are complete BUT you cannot complete day 9 once the time is up, the baby will be born straight away once the time is up and you will only get the baby bonus if all goals and tasks are completed before the time is up (keep reading for more information). Completing pregnancy events earns maternity tokens used to buy maternity clothes and nursery furniture from the maternity store.
View pregnancy support tasks- head back to the pregnancy event tab
Support tasks can be completed by any sim, you need to complete all support tasks and daily tasks within the 9 day time limit to earn the baby bonus
View baby bonus- go back to the pregnancy event tab and click on the ‘i’ icon above the picture on the event tab
If you complete all the daily goals every day and all the support tasks you will earn bonuses for that baby, they will earn more experience points when they complete actions, complete actions faster, are not affected by low motives (low needs) and they will have these bonuses for life!
Complete the pregnancy event
You need to complete all 9 days of daily goals and support tasks to earn the baby bonus, once the 9 days are up you will no longer get the baby bonus but your sim will still give birth. The 9 days symbolise a month a day so once you complete day 3 and start day 4 your sim will reach the 2nd trimester and their baby bump will appear, they will then start wearing the maternity clothes you brought earlier in this quest. Once you complete day 6 and start day 7 they will reach the 3rd trimester and their baby bump will get bigger
NOTE: I know I said in my video that appointments aren’t going to be in the update but I misunderstood when they told me appointments were going to be removed- they were talking about the aerobic and ultrasound appointments not the doctors appointment which is still available, sorry about that!
LEVEL: 17 UNLOCKS: mezzanine floors TIME LIMIT: 7 days PRIZE: mezzanine house
Once you have completed the DIY Homes: Basement of Kings Quest you can then find Bree in the park again to begin this quest (it will take 24 hours for this quest to show once that quest has been completed) If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock the mezzanine house template, you can still complete once the time limit is up to unlock mezzanine floors but you won’t get the house template. I am so happy we can finally add indoor balconies!

To build a mezzanine, touch and drag anywhere WITHIN a room, there needs to be a room below where you want to place the mezzanine:
Modify a mezzanine- click on the white arrows to drag the mezzanine to resize it:
Return to the mezzanine house (using the phone)
Give news to Bree- 5 hours
Convince Bree- 10 hours (using whiteboard)
Meet Sue Portive- 6 hours 40 minutes Is Sue in the pool? Have all sims leave the house, force close the game and go back to the mezzanine house without a sim, click on Sue and then bring a sim to this house. You should now be able to interact with her
Investigate Bree’s work on the third floor- 7 hours 30 minutes (click on the x)
Calm Sue- 4 hours 10 minutes
Have 3 sims in mezzanine house
Clean the third floor- there are four things to clear:
Bucket of water- 8 hours 20 minutes
Ripped rubbish bag- 5 hours

Relax by pool using 3 sims on the deck chairs- 16 hours 40 minutes (if you want to speed up this task you have to speed all sims up individually)
Send sims home- send all sims who are at the mezzanine house home
Where can I find it? In the house templates on both standard and premium house lots
Cost: First one is free, after that they cost simoleons
Is it worth it? If you don’t want to build your own mezzanine house but really want indoor balconies then it is worth completing in the time limit. If you would rather build your own mezzanine floors then there is no rush, I personally will be building my own house!
What is the difference between the standard and premium residence? The only difference is the garden, the house is exactly the same on both
