Hello and thank you for the wonderful blog it has helped me pretty much with lots of guests. My questions : how many adult sims you loose from dying? If its 2 doesn’t it mean you have 2 more new babies? I have already 2 married couples (I am level 41and my towns sims town is 28/28)
You’re welcome!
Do you mean how many die in this quest? Only one
But whenever a sim dies you can replace them with another adult sim or a baby
I was wondering after they kill your sim do they give you a baby. So that everyone won’t die in your town. Or do u have to keep buying cribs?
they don’t give you babies, you have to buy them
Hi,
I find your posts really helpful. I just have one question.
Do you have to give a life orb to a toddler to get it to the next level (e.g bronze to silver) or can you give it to any sim?
I’m glad they help
You can give it to any sim you want to, it doesn’t have to be a toddler
Thanks!
When I need to find out something about the quests, this is the place I go to first!
i’m glad it helps!
Hello, when sims automatically age, what happens to the hobbies – having in mind that it takes quite a while to upgrade to the top level of a hobby, especially it takes very long to collectvall hobby items. When sims autoage, I may find impossible to do that and maintain sims with specific hobbies, so I will not be able to win LPs in the Competition center…
The hobby collection will stay the same, it won’t reset but if your sim wasn’t at level 6 then another sim will need to get to level 6 in that hobby to unlock all the pieces, if your sim was at level 6 then future sims will be able to find all the pieces without being on the highest level
You will have some time to complete hobbies after a sim has done their life dream for that stage, it shouldn’t take the whole of the stage to complete
In your opinion, should I start this quest? I’m on In Stitches and I’m not sure what to do! Thanks!
Do you want your sims to age and die? I can’t really tell you what to do but if the answer is no then you probably won’t want to do this quest
Thanks!
Is this the last quest?
the last main quest yes, but they keep adding new discovery quests.
Does the life cycle continue even when you’re not playing? Like if I had a baby, then didn’t play for two days, when I played again would the baby be a toddler?
no it doesn’t, they would still be a baby
Do you have to have a senior to do this quest?
yes, an adult sim becomes a senior in this quest
Sorry, I know this isn’t the right post to comment this on, but if a pet has no happiness left will it die? So sorry again!
P.S love your blog SSOO much! 💞👍💞
No pets don’t die
Thanks!
Hi I’m confused, in the picture of the age control thing, there’s a pause button, what does that do?
it pauses your sim at that life stage, but it requires a platinum orb to pause them completely.
What happens if all your sims die?!?!
you add new sims
When you have finished all quests what happens.
they release new quests with every update so there will always be something to do
Ok what’s the next quest? Any ideas….I finished the basement. When will they allow us to add more people with leveling up….my population is shrinking..
this is the final quest for now, you will have to wait for the next update for a new quest. Can’t you just add new sims when your previous sims pass on as the sim count goes down
So, if my sims die, they will leave room for other sims. Great news! I was afraid they will still count as existing sims. Thanks!
Where i can find the glowing orb?
it is on the pier in the park
My suggestion is if you can, start your life dreams as a toddler. You wait until you’re a senior, all you’ll have time to do is whatever your goal is.
That isn’t completely true, you spend all your time as an adult completing the life dream if you start as an adult.
Only like 3 of my sims have started ageing, and I don’t understand why everyone isn’t ageing. What actions cause them to age?
Any actions cause them to age, they should all be ageing so I don’t know why they aren’t sorry!
I read somewhere that you need to have two population slots available in order to finish this quest. Is that true? I haven’t started the quest, and I would like to, but I do not want to get stuck and not finish it in time.
When this quest was first released that was true but I think they have fixed this issue now so only having one slot should be fine
I’m just wondering how two people can go to a stage at the exact same time but one of them goes to the next stage earlier (sometimes several hours) before the other one.
they will only go at the same time if they do all of the same actions as the longer the action the quicker they will age
Is it good to do this quest as I have a teen idol and as per aging detail he will be aged up to adult – senior so will I have to reborn a buy and grow him to teen then make him teen idol I mean will I have to redo everything ?
You won’t have to redo everything, the hobby will start with a new sim where the last one left off but yes you will need to age a new sim to a teen to be able to complete the hobby
Can you start having the baby easily?
yes
Do you NEED to have a senior to grow watermelons, I want to start it early, but I don’t don’t have a senior, and the adult you turn into a senior has to be completing their life dream as part of the quest.
BTW you have an awesome blog (and sorry if this doesn’t make sense)
no an adult can do it
thanks!
Have answered this already, but can the baby be started early?
*You may have…
yes it can
Question,do you have to bake a birthday cake if you want to age up the senior BY THE WAY LOVE YOUR BLOG
no you don’t have to bake a cake to age a senior to the after life
thanks!
I started this quest but haven’t finished. I noticed my Sims are ageing already. Is this supposed to happen? Thanks!
yes they age as soon as you start the quest.
I can’t find the glowing orb in the park, where do I find it?
I believe it is on the pier
I caN see the spaceship in the “home page” kinda place where you see everything, but I can’t touch it or press it. When I go to the park itself, there’s nothing there. I have updated my sims, but still nothing. As there is nothing when I google this I’m guessing I have a problem with the game?
the spaceship always appears when the alien is in town
Hi! I just started the last quest (where the sims starts to age by their own). There is a green ring above the sim’s head. It is starting to fill up and if they will the sims will age automatically.. The thing is I don’t want them to age on their own. My question is.. If I stop doing the quest are they still going to age automatically? Please answer 🙂
Once you start this quest your sims start to age, so unfortunately your sims will automatically age now.
I want to ask. I have 23 sims, if i do this quest, when it reach “advance and adult sim age” will all my sims die? Or is it senior and adult only? Are teenager, toodler and baby will continue to grow up until they all dead? I really love the old sims and i don’t want to recreate my sims. :,(
All your sims will age and die eventually, once their timer reaches red they will be close to the end of that life stage, so if they are babies, toddlers, preteens, teens or adults they will age to the next stage, if they are seniors they will die.
So when you press the pause button on the life span control thing does it eventually un pause itself or will it say paused untill you press the pause button again?
It will stay paused for the amount of time the orb lasts, so platinum orbs will stay paused forever
can I use LP for the task to complete the sims life (goodbye sims)
no you can’t
Hi, please what tasks can I start early so as to save time, thanks. Your blog is a sims saver😃
bake gingerbread and have baby
Can a sim die before they are a senior?
no they can’t
Hi, if will the sims starts to age the moment you start this quest or till you reached the age controller goal? I would like to complete the quilt quest but do not want my sim to age
they will age and die from the moment you start the quest
How long does it take for a sim of any age to age up?
Love your blog! 💖💜
Baby- 24 hours
Toddler- 3 days
Preteen- 5 days
Teenager- 7 days
Adult- 18 days
Senior- 10 days
Hey Just a question on Sims Freeplay. I don’t want my sims to die on this quest so I stay on the one before. But does this mean that I can’t get the Carnival, Pet Salon and other things bc I can’t complete the quest? Thanks for reply!
Yes you need to complete the life dreams and legacies quest to be able to unlock the carnival, pet salon, pet park, beach and arcade
Hi there. 🙂 If I choose not to do this quest, will I still be able to do the other quests that will come after this one? I really don’t want my sims to age and die. 😦
Yes because the quests that come after this one are all discovery quests which can be completed regardless of which main quest you are doing
How many life points does it cost to have baby???
3LPs.
So how do I give my sims a personality?
complete this quest then go to the wardrobe and select the personality.
My sim wants to debunk the theory of relativity (both times) and both times it has taken 12 hours. Is this a “time varies depending on your life dream” sort of thing?
yes it depends on your life dream to how long it takes
Once a sim dies, can another one (a baby) take its place?
yes
When a Sim dies, I read that you can get a baby for free. Is that true? If so, how? I had a Sim die today, tried to add a new baby, but it still says that it cost $48,000. Is there something special you have to do or is this not true?
only when completing the quest you get a baby for free, after the quest babies cost simoleons
Thank you!
If i choose not to do this quest since I don’t want my sims to age, will I be able to move on to another quest once there is?
all other quests after this one are discovery quests which you can do regardless of which main quest you are on
Hi!
I have finished the level 26 quest… but the problem is if i reloaded the game, it goes back to level 26 that i haven’t finished yet. what do i do now? huhuhu…
you may need to contact EA to see if they can fix this problem for you
Do all your sims die or do you chose when they die
yes they will all eventually die automatically
And also can you “pause “them to stop aging
yes you can pause them forever with a platinum orb but you need to complete life dreams, gain and upgrade orbs by killing off sims who have completed their life dreams to earn a platinum.
I am on level 27 in 2015 and I never got the quest in level 26. It still hasn’t com and I’m half way through level 27 how does it start I am a very good player at this game. I will admit that I zoomed through level 26 very fast because I earn a lot of XP quickly by making my sims hibernate and such. I so sad about this. Please help!
you can’t miss quests, they have to be completed in order, if you are on a previous quest you need to do that and all other ones that come before this one.
How long do sims live from baby to death?
Baby- 24 hours
Toddler- 3 days
Preteen- 5 days
Teenager- 7 days
Adult- 18 days
Senior- 10 days
Hi, from what I understand, the time it takes for a sim to go through each life stage (teen, adult, etc) will depend on what activities they complete, but roughly how long does it take for them to age and eventually die? Eg. Would it take on average a month for a sim to go from baby to senior or less time than this (or more)? I hope this question makes sense. I’m trying to decide whether I want to do this quest……. Thanks!
Roughly:
Baby- 24 hours
Toddler- 3 days
Preteen- 5 days
Teenager- 7 days
Adult- 18 days
Senior- 10 days
Do the sims start to age automatically at the beginning or in the middle of the quest?
at the start.
My Sim have started dying 😔. Question- why is it that some of my newest Sims age faster? One who died today was one of my last original Sims I created. Does doing certain activities make your Sims age more quickly? I didn’t restart them. I would have thought they would die in the order created. My first original couple has more life left compared to some of the others. Any ideas?
the time they live for depends on the actions they do because the time of actions increases the timer so if one sim does 1 day actions constantly they will die quicker than a sim that does 8 hour options every now and then
Hi I’m coming up to this quest soon but was wondering if I should wait as I haven’t built everything yet on the map ie castle, car dealer etc should I wait til there all built or start the quest soon as, I am also still trying to upgrade the sim sign to get my mansion, your opinion would really help, thanks
It really is up to you, I probably would do this quest first then build the other places
Hey! Thanks so much for all your help on your blog! I really love the life dreams and the ageing is much cheaper (no lps anymore!) but is there a way to change the life dream after you’ve chosen one of your sim without changing their personality? Because my preteen now has the life dream to play on the inflatable animal in the pool but it only takes 50 minutes at the longest so I constantly have to repeat the action…
Well you could but you can’t change their life dream without losing all progress you have already made towards that life dream.
But you can, on the life dreams tab under your sims picture is a head with arrows around it, click that and you can change their personality so you can change it to something else then do that again to change it back to their old personality.
