YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THE RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARTIFACTS QUEST BEFORE YOU CAN BEGIN THIS QUEST

Completing this quest unlocks the stables and horses so your sims can complete the horse tricks and vaulting hobbies. If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock the unicorn painting. You can still complete this quest once the time limit is up to unlock the stables and horses but you won’t get the painting

Spot horses with a telescope- 5 minutes (buy from promotions r us)

Go to the mystery island
Spot the overgrown stables (tap on it)

Call the mysterious number- 2 minutes

Read a horse care manual- 9 hours 30 minutes

Call the mysterious number again- 5 minutes
Look up a locksmith on a computer- 8 minutes

Build the stables- time and price varies (not enough money?)

Send a sim to the stables
Clean up mess in front of yard- 4 minutes

Have 4 sims at the stables
Clean up mess in yard with your sims (aged teens and up) (you need to repair the bathtub too) You can work on repairing all of these areas with more than one sim to complete quicker:

Wild Grass= 30 seconds
Weeds= 5 minutes
Thistles= 30 minutes
Old Tyre= 1 hour 30 minutes
Small Rock Pile= 4 hours
Tree Stump= 6 hours
Large Rock Pile= 7 hours
Water Trough= 10 hours

Watch the horse channel- 9 minutes

Practice brushing on another sim- 3 minutes

Encourage a sim- 4 minutes

Repair a stable- S30,000- 1 hour 5 minutes

Call the stables owner back- 2 minutes

Add a horse to the stable (S15,000 or 10SP)

Feed the horse- 6 minutes 5 seconds

QUEST IS COMPLETE!

You can now start the Horse Tricks and Horse Vaulting hobbies and buy more horses!

You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 11 before you can start this quest

Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 11?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically

Where can I find a telescope?
You need to buy one from the promotions r us store

I don’t have the promotions r us store yet, can I get the telescope without it?
No, unfortunately you will have to build the store to progress in this quest

How do I place the telescope in my house once I have brought it from the promotions r us store?
You can find it in your inventory under career and hobby items

I can’t afford the stables, how can I earn more simoleons?
This post may help

Can I build the stables early?
No, you cannot build the stables until you get the goal in this quest

No exclamation marks appear above items to clean up, what should I do?
Just click on items when a sim is there and it will come up with options on the things that need clearing

Can I have more than 4 sims cleaning the mess up at the stables?
Yes, you can have up to 10 sims at a place so 8 sims can clear the 8 items at the same time

How do I practice brushing another sim?
Select the interaction between two sims

My game says there is something under construction when I try to repair a stable, what do I do?
Firstly you need to read the pop up as it tells you exactly what is under construction, once you have go there and click on it to finish building, then you will be able to repair the stable (it will be something you have built previously but probably just haven’t clicked to finish building yet!)

What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?
The rainbow unicorn painting

What happens if I don’t complete in the time limit, can I still finish this quest?
Yes you have to finish it to unlock the stables and two horse hobbies; horse tricks and vaulting before you can move onto the next quest

I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?
No, you cannot redo quests

Can I still get the prize if I don’t complete in the time limit?
No, the only way to get the limited time prizes is by completing the quest in the time limit

I don’t like this quest! Can I just skip it?
No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one

Some times are slightly different on my game, why is this?
Times may vary depending on the star rating of the item you are using, as the higher star rating an item has the quicker you will complete a goal.

The Sims Freeplay- Careers: Athlete

Athlete is one of 8 careers your adult sims can have (not including profession careers) and this post explains all you need to know about this career.

How do I start this career?

You firstly need to build the stadium and then you will be able to select athlete from the list of careers.

Once your sim is an athlete you can click on the pulsing suitcase on the simtracker to send them to work once a day. During this time you won’t see them at work and you cannot go to the stadium, on the simtracker it will just say they are at work, once the time is up they will arrive back at home and be rewarded with the simoleons and XP they earned for that shift. The more they work, the higher level they will reach in that career and the more money they will earn.

You can then send your sims to work again at/after 12am as it is the start of a new day.

What hours do they work?

You can send your sims to work anytime of the day for 6 hours, once they finish their shift you will receive the simoleons and XP they have earned. When they reach a new level in that career a pop up will appear to show you how much they will earn for the next shift.

What are the levels and how much money and XP do you earn for a day at work?

How do I find out what level my sim is on?

You can see this information in the occupations (career) tab. This tab is where you give your sims careers to begin with. Here you can see your sims career and the level they are on and if you click on the symbol of the career you will be able to see how much your sims earn and you can quit jobs from here too.

Can I increase my sims career level from home?

Yes you can buy the soccer ball from the promotions r us store or hobby and career items tab of the home store. It costs S950 and once placed in your sims house you can play soccer for 3 hours. During this time your career bar will increase like it does when they go to work (but slower)

YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THE AN ALIEN CONCEPT: WEATHER MACHINES QUEST BEFORE YOU CAN BEGIN THIS QUEST

Completing this quest allows you to add extra floors to your houses! If you complete in the 6 day time limit you will unlock the elevators and escalators pack! You can still complete this quest once the time limit is up to add extra floors to your houses but you won’t get the escalators or elevators

Build the community center- time and price may vary (need more money?)

time and price varies depending on how many businesses you have already but these are the requirements I had

Send a sim to the community center
Talk to wumples- 2 minutes (at community center)
Press look upstairs button while at the community center (pulsing button in top right hand corner)

Carve magnum opus- 12 hours 30 minutes (using workbench, can be started early at home)

See wumples for psychoanalysis- 7 minutes

Share ideas with wumples- 3 minutes 30 seconds

Call home store hotline using phone: call hotline- 9 hours (this goal appears twice in this quest so if you make two sims do this option at different houses and leave one of them at that house until you get this goal for the second time you can save yourself 9 hours as it will complete the goal as soon as you go to that house)

Browse the Internet- 4 minutes (on a computer)
Search for bananas- 20 hours [inspired: 15 hours 10 minutes] (fridge)
Check email- 48 seconds (on a computer)
Creative chat with a sim- 2 minutes 48 seconds

Call home store on phone- 9 hours
Talk to wumples- 2 minutes
See wumples for psychoanalysis- 7 minutes
Have 3 sims dancing to stereo (task completes straight away)

QUEST IS COMPLETE!

You can now add up to 5 floors to your house- a second floor costs 300,000, a third floor costs 500,000, a fourth floor costs 800,000 and a fifth floor costs 1,000,000!

You will also be able to complete the Woodworking hobby using the benches at the community center
You unlock stairs and firepoles even if you don’t finish the quest in time

Once you complete the patio, balcony and basement quests you will unlock 4 more stairs:

Time Limited Prize: Elevators and Escalators

Is the prize worth it? Yes, there are some really nice elevators and escalators available but you do have to buy them, it also is quite tricky to complete the quest within the time limit especially if it takes you ages to save up and build the community center.

Where can I find them? In the stairs section of the home store.

I can’t afford the community center, how can I earn more simoleons?
This post may help

The game says I have to complete the multi story renovations quest to be able to build the community center, what is the problem?
There is no problem, you have to start the multi story quest and the first goal is to build the community center so you cannot build it until you get that first goal in the quest

How do I send my sim to the community center?
Go to the community center and click on the whistle next to a sim who isn’t busy on the simtracker, this post explains more about the simtracker

I don’t understand what you mean when you say you can do both call the home store/ hotline goals at once to save time?
This goal appears twice so it is like being able to start a goal early that you have access to (read the question below if you don’t understand this) to do this you need two sims and two different houses:
1- When you get the goal to call home store you can set sim 1 to do the task
2- In a different house which you need to stay away from until you get the second goal you can have sim 2 also do the task
3- When sim 1 is done you complete the goal the first time
4- Wait until you get the goal again to call home store and you can go to sim 2 to complete it straight away!

What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work

Does it matter if the banana bread burns? Will the goal still complete?
The goal will still complete even if it causes a fire

I crafted the 1st set of woodworking items before I got the task to, my game now won’t complete the goal, what should I do?
You will need to find the next 3 items in the second row to complete this goal

What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?
Elevators and escalators

What happens if I don’t complete in the time limit, can I still finish this quest?
Yes you have to finish it to unlock the ability to add up to 5 floors to your houses as well as unlocking stairs and firepoles before you can move onto the next quest

I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?

Fashion Story- My Shop

This post is an update of my shop, I hadn’t been playing for a while as I got really bored of having no goals (but that is for another post!) so I decided to go back on and redesign my whole shop to make the whole thing a bit more exciting again!

I will post a before and after picture of the shop so you can really see the difference. There were some thing’s that I really liked, the layout of the changing rooms and the wedding and ski displays so I have kept them, but moved some parts for better use of walls.

The main things were; I wanted to fill the excess space that previously had no use, I wanted to include more of the wonderful floor displays and I wanted it to all flow together nicely.

Teacher is one of 8 careers your adult sims can have (not including profession careers) and this post explains all you need to know about this career.

How do I start this career?

You firstly need to build the elementary school which is one of the goals in the Preparing for Preteens Quest. Then you will be able to select teacher from the list of careers.

Once your sim is a teacher you can click on the pulsing suitcase on the simtracker to send them to work once a day. During this time you won’t see them at work and you cannot go to the school, on the simtracker it will just say they are at work, once the time is up they will arrive back at home and be rewarded with the simoleons and XP they earned for that shift. The more they work, the higher level they will reach in that career and the more money they will earn.

You can then send your sims to work again at/after 12am as it is the start of a new day.

You can send your sims to work anytime of the day for 7 hours for levels 1-3 and 5 hours for levels 4 and 5, once they finish their shift you will receive the simoleons and XP they have earned.
