The Sims Freeplay- Pregnancy Event Daily Goals and Support Tasks List

In this post I have listed the daily goals and support tasks that appear in Pregnancy Events and how to complete them, you won’t get all of these goals in each event and the times they take to complete do vary for everyone

If you are having trouble finding a pregnancy event action they can be easily found as they have the symbol of a pregnant sim with a heart in their bump, completing any of these actions will complete a daily goal or support task:

Want to see an example of a full 9 day pregnancy event and tips to completing one? Click here to read my completing a pregnancy event post

Daily Goals

These have to be completed by the pregnant sim, if the task is to communicate with another sim for example, discuss pregnancy with another sim then the pregnant sim has to select this interaction on the other sim

You will not be able to complete these goals if the plumbob is not above the pregnant sims head when you click on a sim or object

NOTE: I have put them roughly in order of the days they appear but some tasks can appear on many different days and I haven’t included the times as they vary a lot depending on the day they appear on for you as it is different for everyone

  1. My pregnancy update taskbar for daily goals for both mother and support tasks is stuck, when I tap it, it closes out of freeplay and I have to return to game. The mother and support sims can’t complete tasks because there are no pregnancy symbols on any of the goals. Mother is still advancing in pregnancy day by day, but can’t rack up maternity store money or bonus for new baby. Anyone else with similar problems?

  2. I stopped completing the daily challenges for the pregnancy event..
As the Drs appointments/yoga instructor appointments just got too expensive I basically used up all my LPs as well as all my sim coins

Shame if they had been cheaper or easier to complete it would be a fun event to do but as it is I’ll just be completing the 24 hour baby in future.

  3. Hi. Just thought I’d add one that showed up for me on day 1: Consider Simvitation designs for the baby shower on a couch. (thank you for the work you put into this site, it continues to be a life/stress saver :D)

  4. When I complete each support task, should the percentage increase that is completed? When one of my sims completes one, the percent completed is not increasing. What’s wrong?

    • Are you just completing it for one sim or for them all? It will only increase once all the sims have completed it, for example, if you are completing knit 5 baby items, you have to complete this 5 times before it will complete and increase the percentage.

  5. Do the daily tasks need to be completed within 24 hours? If my Sim started her pregnancy at 9am and I’m able to start the last task of the day at 8am which is a 3 hour task, will the daily goals not be completed? I hate to spend SP to speed it up if I can play catch-up the next day. Thank you and thank you for this blog!!

    • If you don’t manage to complete them all in a day you can complete them the next day but you will need to complete all the goals in the 9 day time limit if you want the baby bonus
      You’re welcome!

  6. Have 13 sims share parenting advice with another sim- 4 hours 35 minutes (select the interaction share parenting advice on another sim)

when a sims share their parenting advice it requires 2sims , are they count as 2/13 sims or 1/13?

  7. I completed the Pregnancy Event, but I only completed 82% of the support task so I still be awarded the tokens

      • My pregnant Sim finished all her goals with 6 hours to spare. I had all my other Sims (13) working round the clock completing those ridiculous support tasks which take huge blocks of time to accomplish. Yet my support tasks completed bar is at only 29% with only six hours to go! There is no way my Sims will finish those tasks in that time. I feel that this task was impossible to complete from the gitgo. I’m very disappointed and feel like a fool. Is there anything I could have done differently to complete this and win the bonus?

      • Don’t feel like a fool, you did everything you could, these are hard if not impossible to complete in the time limit without spending money! I wouldn’t worry about it too much, the baby bonus isn’t that amazing anyway

    • I didn’t do the live Bumpy Ride event. Now that I’m trying to do it, one task is to buy maternity clothes. My store credit says negative one million and I can’t earn Maternity tokens, or skip action. Any other work around? I’m completely stuck

  8. I got the goal take a relaxing walk around the lake but when I went back to check on it later, no progress had been made, and even while I was in the game it did not change even though my pregnant sim was walking. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

  9. Is it possible that the task where my sim needs to have a doctor’s appointment/check up will show up more than once? It’s so expensive…

    • Every day there seems to be a very expensive task for the pregnant sim to do, I ran out of sim money and LPs, so stopped on day 3, I continued to do the support tasks but didn’t manage to save enough to really buy anything from the Maternity store just 2 items, and unfortunatly the only way you can buy those items is by earning the tokens
Lovely idea, but my goodness it bankrupted me in the game and could have ended up spending a fortune in real money too.

  10. Hi! Can somebody please explain to me,what you have to do with “practice bathing a baby dummy in a bath”? Because I’m stuck with that!! Help plss..

  11. Hi! I have completed the pregnancy event and noticed when I have a current pregnant Sim and choose the 1-day Add a Baby option, the bubble for all the current pregant Sims are not green anymore and the notification says I need to wait until the new sim is added until I can add another. This doesn’t affect the time of the pregnancy, does it? Or does it just delay the Sim from “giving birth” if the Add a Baby option overlapped the end of the pregnancy? This happened before but I wasnt sure what to do so I immediately skipped the 24 hours, so I couldn’t tell if the pregnancy was put on pause. All is appreciated! Thank you for your very helpful blog!! ❤

  12. Ok, I first had one SIM doing the supporting task (like ‘female sim’s’ announcement on Pinterest”), but the percentage didn’t update, so then I thought maybe I misread or whatever, tried it again with one SIM, same, then tried it with a bunch of other SIM’s, I should easily have completed it 10 times by now, and still NOTHING, no change in percentage. But I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong with the supporting some tasks.

The female SIM’s tasks work out, but nothing changes in the Supporting tasks.

    • The percentage will not increase unless you complete this task 10 times, once you have completed it 10 times a pop up will apppear to say you have completed that task, if you don’t know how many times you have done it just keep going until that pop up appears.

  13. I’m stuck on one of the daily task for the pregnancy event. It says browse nursery ideas from a ‘bouncing bub’ machine.
I don’t understand what that is exactly.
    Can anyone help??

    • Is that exactly what it says? I haven’t seen that one before! Maybe try clicking on items around your sims house until you find one with that symbol that says browse nursery ideas. Sorry I couldn’t be more help!

  14. My sim just gave birth, and the baby appeared in another house. How can I change him to the house where he is supposed to live?

  15. Do you need to do one support task each day, or just one over the whole pregnancy? Also, I’m a bit confused: if you don’t finish a task in one day (for example Day 4) can you still win the prize??

    Thank you 🙂

    • You have a lot to complete so you would need to complete more than one a day ideally to complete them all in the time limit.
Yes, you just need to complete all the tasks and goals in the 9 day time limit to get the baby bonus

  16. Do I have to complete the pregnant sim’s to do list in order? Or can I complete in any order as long as the daily list is completed in 24 hours?

  17. if you don’t complete all the tasks, will you get another chance (by making another pregnancy) or is there only one chance?

  18. Pleaaase, I nerd help! One of the daily tasks is “Phone another sim to help choose baby shower decorations” but when I select the phone this task doesn’t appear. I don’t know what else to do. Thank you.

  19. Hi! I need help with a daily task, it says “Phone another sim to help choose baby shower decorations” but when I select the phone this task doesn’t appear, I don’t know what to do.

  20. Hi I am stuck on the Pregnancy Event on daily goal relax on a couch and take a well deserved nap…I’ve tried different couches & isn’t working..please help!

  21. If I don’t unlock all the special furniture with support task tokens, will the ones I already unlocked still be unlocked or do i have to start from the beginning again with another pregnant sim?

  22. I have a little tip. I am on my third full pregnancy so far, so thinking of ways to make it a little easier. I previously set up one of my empty houses as a daycare, and another one as a youth centre, and one as a cooking house for generating lp. So I figured why not set up a pregnancy support house? Saves dashing around town trying to figure out where all my 3-star phones, computers and fridges are and makes the process way more efficient. So in this house, I have dining tables with 3-star chairs, 10 3-star phones, 3-star computers, 3-star couch etc. So I can concentrate most of my support tasks in one place with all my best equipment to maximise speed.

    • Excellent Idea! I have a house with a HUGE basement that I use for other events. I even created a coffee corner for the sims when they need a break. 😉 Think I’ll use it for pregnancy support next time. Thanks

    • Since you’ve completed this before I have a question, rather an opinion. I’m down to 19 hours with support tasks at 70%. Do you think I have enough time to complete this event? I am currently on a 3 hour task with all 10 sims. Side note: I am not opposed to spending money on SPs that’s how much time I’ve already invested in this quest (I never spend real $$)

  23. I started the pregnancy event but didn’t complete it in time, when I opened the game two days after the 9 days had finished my sim was still pregnant but wouldn’t give birth, and there are no options to complete the support tasks. It’s like the whole event has vanished. It says I’ve reached my limit but can unlock the pregnancy event again for 0 lp, but not with the sim who is already pregnant! It sounds like a bug, has anyone had this?

  24. mine has “Browse nursery ideas on a ‘Bouncing Bub’ magazine”, and i’m confused on how to do it. can you please find out and tell me how? thanks!

  25. I’ve been trying to complete my daily tasks for the pregnancy event and the only one I have left is the appointment with the doctor. I had the option to call the doctor earlier but now its gone, i did click on call doctor when the option was there but decided to complete a different task with a longer time since I was at work. The doctor hung around the house for a few hours but left too. Now the option to call the doctor is gone! I see from the comments that the daily tasks don’t need to be completed in 24 hours but will the option for this set come back?? I just don’t want to waste my time doing more tasks if I’m not going to get the bonus now so does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks!

  26. Hello,
Love your blog. It’s so helpful and informative. I’m hoping you may have some advice on a prob I’m having.
I’ve reached day 7 or 8 on the preg event. Am right on track. The support Sims have completed 85%. Now it says to have 6 Sims discuss parenting advice with other Sims. I have completed this assignment on other days without issue.
Today howerver, when I have a sim click on another sim, there is no option for parenting advice. Just the normal social interactions.
I have worked hard, spent a lot of game cash and lp to finish on time. Do you know how I can rectify this issue, or contact support to have them help me.
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great week.

    Ciao,
    Jan

  27. Can I just do the support task and not the daily goals trying to get a lot of maternity tokens I have had lots of trouble been confused with the quest and didn’t finish the first time or get many tokens thanks for all your help

    • You will need to finish all the daily goals and support tasks to be able to give birth even if you don’t complete in the time limit so you should be able to get all the tokens

  28. Help i’ve tried completing ” Read ‘super baby foods’ from a bookshelf (select super baby foods option on a bookcase) ”
Twice with a 3 star bookcase, but it refuses to complete

  29. During the pregancy quest after i placed my cot (baby bed) I moved my sims somewhere and i can’t find the original cot i used for my baby to be born . i go to buy a regular baby bed and when i click on it , it doesn’t say “have baby” .. i can’t find the original crib the one with the little sim on it and a heart. please help me my sim finished with all the task and she still is pregnant i can’t have the baby because the cot was deleted i moved into a new house while the pregancy event was going on .

  30. So if you go an hour over the daily goal but catch up by the end you still lose the bonus? Not sure if I understand mussing one daily goal makes you lose the bonus

  31. If i started my dailty events at 21:00 and i finish my events for today at 17:00 and i pay for skip.
if my next day tasks will be until 17 or 21? is the skip is only for this day or for all the days?
because the skip points are very very high, its very weird (17 yellow point for 2 hours)

    • They will earn more experience points when they complete actions, complete actions faster, are not affected by low motives (low needs) and they will have these bonuses for life

  32. Hello it’s me again! Thanks to your posts, I’ve prepared for the super-expensive appointments. Currently having my Sims all working on cooking hobby (because imo it’s harder to earn 76,000 Simoleons than 13 LPs lol). Thank you so much for the detailed quest explanation. Happy Simming!

  33. I’ve been spending all my lp on this quest! I’m doing the Hans quest and a few hobby quests all at the same time which is eating up all my lp! I started the snow problem quest with 600 lp and am down to 315!! That’s like not even possible but I have to spend on everything! I try to save up by coking but my sims are too busy with support tasks. Also, I swear I’m on Sims FreePlay like 24/7 now or my sister is taking care of it during my activities. I’m not physical at all now but I used to be a pretty active person just a few weeks ago! I swear I’m addicted to this game it is awful for my health. Thank goodness my parents won’t let me buy store packs because if it was my own money I’d be so broke. This was a weird rantish thingy. Lol I don’t think this will get posted but whatever it was fun to write. Byeeeeee!

  34. I’m just starting a pregnancy event and already having a problem with a support task. I’m supposed to have 11 sims discuss the nursery at a dining table but when I click on a seat and select that option, my sims won’t go to the chair.

    • When this occurred for me, I had either a plate or some other decoration in the way. (That reminds me that I need to move the place setting back at santa’s farm house.) The Sim needs free space to write.

I was disappointed as I had 3-star chairs at the wedding venue, but the tables appear to have built-in place settings, so no place for the sims to write.

  35. I am fine with all the tasks there are a lot, I just think the time frames are too long, it’s kind of rediculous. There’s not time to enjoy the experience!

  36. Am I the only one that got the support tasks that must using more sims than this blog?

I always got mission like “Have 18 SIMS help plan a girls night” or “Like sims simterest post 19 TIMES” and it will continue to increase more when i add more sims. This is bugging me when we get more mission and cant do anything about it!!!!!!!

  37. Ok, I did a few pregnancy events when they first came out, and I’ve gone back to do them to get the new packs… and the numbers of sims it’s asking for are way increased – like, 19 sims liking a post on the computer, or my current one which is 17 sims have to share parenting advice. It’s making it really hard… is this part of getting the special packs or just a weird bug?!

    • Yes they have updated this recently to make it harder to complete in the time limit, I am not sure if it is just the pregnancy events for the maternity packs or if this is going to be staying like this but I’m not at all happy with the increase.

  38. I do pregnancy quest 4 times. It’s more expensive every next time. Now for the yoga instruktor appointment I need pay more than 600000 do. Support task needs more sims than last time. The minimum was 14 in one support task. Most of them needs 16-19. Now I need interact between two sims 19 times. It’s mean I need use 20 sims 2 times a row for 5 hours to compleet only one task. This start be so nerwus that I realy think they try to make events impossible to make without spent Real money. All my Sims make support task. I can’t do nothing else at the same time. Good that I have compleet earlier all others events planing in the same time in game.
